Mortal Kombat!

Magnus' P.O.V

The next morning, I woke up with a hand on me. I glanced and saw the sleeping beauty, Emery. She was slightly drooling and murmuring. She never stayed in one place as she slept, she tossed and turned everywhere.

I held her hand and waited for her to wake up. She woke up ten minutes later, but not in a good way. She shot straight up and started hyperventilating. I grabbed her and she started thrashing around.

"Hey! Emery! Calm down, its me, Magnus!" I managed through the punch to the face.

I groaned as she stopped moving. I picked her up and carried her to Annabeth. She was in her cabin talking to a boy.

He stood up and grabbed Emery out of my hands. He glared at me but I didn't care about him, just Emery.

I turned to my cousin. "Annabeth, who's this jackass?" She laughed and the guy looked shocked. "Nevermind, Emery woke up and started freaking out. She even was crying so much that she pumched me." I said as I held my face. I stroked my face to get the pain away but bit didn't leave.

After my cousin stopped laughing, she replied. "First of all this is Percy, my boyfriend. He's also her-" she pointed at Emery. "brother."

I looked between the girl in Percy's arms and him. Two totally different personalities. No wonder people like his sister better.

"Why do you think she started freaking out?" I asked.

"Because she was having a nightmare of being in Tartarus." Another voice came in.

A boy dressed in all black walked in. "Who are you?" I asked.

"Just a guy. Who lives with her. I'm her best friend, Nico." Nico held his hand out for me. I could tell a lot about this guy, he really was her best friend. He was in love with her at one point, probably still is. He probably wasn't lying at all.

He walked up to her and silently asked Percy if he could hold her. He nodded and smiled. Nico took Emery into his arms and kissed her forehead. She hugged him and he rocked back and forth.

"Hey, you're ok. We're ok, I love you Emery." He whispered.

She clung onto him for dear life. She cried and whispered back, "I love you too." It must have been hard, being in this Tartarus place.

I was curious. "What's it like, in Tartarus?" I asked.

Annabeth, Percy, and Nico all looked at eachother. Then Nico walked out with Emery still in his arms. I looked back at the other two remaining.

Annabeth sighed. "It's-a bad place. Your worst nightmares are there, every monster we have ever faced are down there. And Emery, gods, Emery is so young, too young. She went down there with Kyle, her twin brother." She sucked in a breath. "And it wasn't easy thinking she was dead, again. She's faced a lot in the last year. And she's being expected to do so many things as a child."

"She's not a child." I argued. "She's better than that. She's stronger than you think, I can't say much since I haven't been with her long, but I know she's a strong girl."

After a few more coments here and there, I realized that I had to get to the sword arena. I cursed and had to face that stupid mortal, Liam?

If Sam were here then she would kick his butt and walk away, but she wasn't. I looked for my friends and saw them standing with a now-awake Emery.

She was struggling to keep a smile but Hearth and Blitz didn't seem to notice. She smiled and spoke to them, she was still in her pajamas but it didn't look like she cared, like she had done so before. (Foreshadowing at it's finest)
