Emery's P.O.V

When Will, Nico, and I got back to camp we went our separate ways. Not after I thanked them both of course. I didn't know what I was going to do, I know I don't wanna stay in my room for the next day.

I heard voices coming and one called me. "Hey! Emery! Come over here!" Annabeth called me over and I saw two heads of blonde.

I squinted my eyes and they widened. My heart beat sped up and before I knew it, I was running to Magnus' arms.

"MAGNUS!" I think the whole camp heard me. I honestly didn't care at all. My mortal was here, at camp, with me. I cried into his chest and wouldn't let go.

"E-Emery! Oh Gods, I missed you so much!" He replied and held my face in his hands. He kissed both sides of my cheeks and hugged me.

"Uh..." Annabeth was the awkward third wheel. "Well, I guess I should go then." She said and sneaked away.

He held my hand and turned to face me. "So, how's it like here?" He asked and he continued to smile.

I swung his and my hand as we walked. "Well," I started and put a strand of black hair behind my ear "it's been interesting. First of all, I'm a demigod. I'm the daughter of Poseidon. I, uh, I died. And came back to life, lost my memory, fell in love with two people only to realize that they both didn't ever love me-"

"That's a lie. Everyone would love you." Magnus butted in.

I blushed and looked anywhere but him. "I also fell into a place that's kinda like hell but worse. I survived but everyone thought I was dead. I'm actually a princess, and I just set all my things into my apartment-"

"You're not staying?"

"...No. I'm going to college the day after tomorrow." I said quietly. My voice driffed off.

Off in the distance I saw Cammy kissing Liam. She was kissing him, not the other way around. I almost fell form sadness but Magnus caught me and dipped. Well, he only dipped because he stepped in a hole.

His face was close to mine, he laughed and helped me stand upright. I stood there in my friend's embrace and enjoyed it, not letting my jealousy get the best of me.

He grabbed my chin and kissed my cheek, it tickled and I laughed. He continued to kiss me all over my face and that's when the uncontrollable laughter started.

"Ah! Magnus...haha...please...stop!" I laughed through tears.

He spun me around and we ended up by the dock. I grabbed some water and threw it at him. He looked shocked and smirked, thinking he could win this water fight I started.

He threw water at me, only to have it straight at his face. He didn't know the half of what I could do. I walked on the water and jumped. It was fun teasing him. I felt powerful. Then our fight was over.

I walked over to the dock and danced to imaginary music. We danced for a while and just laid there. A little while later, Cammy came up to us.

I smiled and waved to her. "Hey Cam-o. What's up?" I asked and stood up.

She didn't seem amused. "We need to talk." She seemed to notice Magnus. "Is this him?"

He didn't seem to get that she didn't like him. He put his hand out for her to shake but she didn't take it. He slipped his hand into mine and intertwined our fingers. Cammy seemed taken aback and growled.
