For years his friends believed he was dense. This was true in some aspects, but romance? Nah, Red definitely wasn't dense about that tricky topic. Still, he went along with it as to not draw too much attention to himself.
However, Red had finally had enough. In the four years that he'd known the beautiful blond he'd been dropping subtle hints here and there, hoping to grab her attention. Now it had become clear to him that nothing he was doing was working, and it was time to resort to more desperate measures. And when I say desperate I mean desperate.
"Gold?" The raven haired boy cried, knocking loudly on the mansion door of his junior. He'd travelled all the way from the Kanto region and he wasn't leaving until he'd consulted him.
After a few short minutes of glaring moodily at the door, it opened to reveal the messy haired teen that we all adore. He grinned instantly at seeing his hero, "yo, Red! What can I do for ya?"
"I need your help wooing Yellow." Red stated bluntly. Gold sweatdropped at the unexpected statement but, being Gold, his surprise disappeared quickly.
He smirked at his senior, "well, my friend, you've come to the right place." He grinned evilly before adding, "follow me."
Time skip
"This is how you pick up girls? Seriously? Stalking?"
Gold gasped, grasping his chest in shock, "wha- hey, this is not stalking. It is simply observing. It simply must be done or you might end up with a gal wanting to be in a..." he shivered slightly, "commited relationship"
'Why did I come here?'
" ...yeah, that's kinda what I was going for?"
"Oh yeah.. right, well let's skip this step, shall we? Come, my padowan." He swiftly struts away, approaching a short blond quietly. "Time to go in for the kill." Gold purred to his senior behind him who, at the moment, was giving a 'wtf' face.
"Dude, you're not a f***ing animal. Can you please stop messing around and just help me already?!"
Gold sighed, before leaving the slightly (completely) creeped out girl behind him.
"Geez, does anyone know you do this? How the hell have you not been arrested?" Red asked incredulously.
Gold scoffed, "okay, here comes the real lesson. You're going for romantic, yes?"
Red nodded uncertainly.
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing with this one."
The gentle blond awoke from her forest slumber and gently rubbed her eyes. She'd been dreaming a beautiful dream where Red leaned down before her, dressed in a crisp black suit and holding a bouquet of her favourite flowers out to her. It was so fresh in her mind right now it was unbelievable. She blinked once. Then once more. Again.
'That wasn't a dream'
"R-Red!?"
"Yellow," Red gulped, glancing off to somewhere else, "I-I love you and I have for a long, long time now. I'm sorry it's taken me this long to tell you but.." he reached out and placed one of the beautiful flowers in her even more beautiful golden locks. "Will you go out with me"
Yellow had been hiding behind her bangs for a while now but finally raised her head. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes were filled to the bring with crystal tears, but the sweet smile on her face told him her tears were of joy. She tilted her head slightly, "Yes."
Not another word was shared between the two after that, only kisses and cuddles.
I actually wrote this a couple weeks ago and I totally forgot I had it.... Forgive me (;o;)
