The rain came pouring down outside the window, but the blonde was safely inside under her covers. Yellow had planned to go out into the forest called Viridian Forest, which was were she lived.
However, the rain had different ideas. "Now I can't do anything, all of my friends are probably busy. I don't wanna distract them from whatever they're doing."
BANG
Yellow squealed as lightning flashed from outside her window, sending a stream of white across her dark bedroom.
She was basically stuck.
BANG BANG BANG
Yellow was about to hide again when she realised that it wasn't the lightning that made the banging noise.
She peeked the top of her head over her covers, just enough to make out the door. When the storm outside was silent for a moment she sprinted out of her room, down the stairs and to the peep hole on the door.
Yellow stood on her tiptoes and looked through the peep hole. Her eyes located a person with jet black hair, Crimson eyes and a red baseball hat.
When she realised who it was she whipped my door open and pulled the teenage boy inside, smothering him with blankets as soon as he entered the blonde's house.
Yellow heard a chuckle from underneath the blankets and Red looked at her. "Thanks, Yelz."
"R-Red! What happened? What were you doing out there in a storm?" She exclaimed, throwing her arms up in the air in confusion.
Red sweat dropped. "Well, ya see I kinda went training without checking the weather... and then I got lost."
It was Yellow's turn to laugh as she gestured for him to follow her to the kitchen. She fixed them some two hot chocolates and sat in front of him.
Red brought the cup to his lips for a drink, realising it was too hot he placed it back on the cup mat. "Yellow.. Do you remember me?"
"What do you mean?" Said girl replied, puzzledly.
"When you were young... I never noticed before but, looking at you right now.. You're the girl I saved in the forest... You're the dratini girl."
Yellow felt warm inside. All these years she wondered if he remembered her, or if he wouldn't remember when she looked after Pika for him.
Red noticed that her eyes had teared up and tilted his head in concern for her. Yellow saw his concern and smiled.
"I'm not sad Red, I'm really happy that you remembered me." She smiled softly, which he returned.
"I'm glad I remembered someone like you."
And with that, Red held his mug up and Yellow clinked hers against his.
They were just happy in each others company, and thats all there is to it.
