Diary Of A Girl In Love - Jess POV

Danny stood there, shirtless, with just black jeans on, his hair slightly wet, his eyes looking right into mine. I felt like I had stopped breathing. I could feel the adrenalin rushing through my veins.
Speak, I told myself.

''You could have at least put on a shirt'' I finally spoke. Trying not to look at his naked chest.

He smiled and looked down at himself. 

''Sorry, was in a hurry'' he smiled and looked back up at me.''

''Oh right, you going to see Mark?'' I asked with my mouth completely dry. 

Why was I feeling like this? What was happening to me? 
Eric had completely left my mind, I felt like he never even existed.

Danny didn't say anything for a while, and I couldn't talk either. So, once again, we both just started into each others eyes...

''I... Can I come in?'' Danny suddenly spoke.  I didn't say anything, just moved to the side and let him past me. 
As he did so, I couldn't help but inhale the scent of his shower gel. 

 He walked in and sat on the bed. I closed the door and stood there with my back pressed against it. 

''So...'' I said.

Danny seemed to be slightly nervous about something, he shifted around and took a deep breath. 
I prepared myself for whatever was going to come. Was he going to tell me I couldn't stay? That he...

''Jess, you up yet?'' Suddenly a voice from the other side of the door made both Danny and I jump. 
''Yeah'' I replied, looking at Danny who was looking at me, with an expression I couldn't read.

I opened the door and Ben was standing there. Great I thought, now he's going to think something was going on.... which I kind of hoped would someday be true.

''Hey, you want to go down and have breakfast, everyone else seems to be gone-' Ben stopped speaking when he saw Danny sitting on my bed. He looked at me and smirked. 
I rolled my eyes. 
''I see'' Ben spoke and was about to say more before Danny interrupted. 
''Yeah, Ben I'll come with you''  Dan said and stood up. 

He was now inches away from me, I could actually feel the heat from his body on my own. I had to keep on reminding myself to breath. 

''You want to come Jess?'' Danny asked and I turned around to meet his eyes. 

All this time Ben was watching us, I didn't see what his face showed as my back was turned to him.

''Sure...'' I replied. 

''Great, I'll see you in a few then'' He said and walked past me. 

''Alright Ben?'' I could hear him say as I was closing my door.

Before I completely closed it, I caught a glimpse of Ben, he mouthed the words ''I told you so'
