The Morning After.

Danny's POV

I woke up with a smile. Actually it was more like a grin, I couldn't help myself. I could still feel her lips against mine. Had it all really happened? I couldn't believe it.

I lay on my bed for quite a white, wishing she could be beside me.  I thought of last night, how soft her lips were, how sweet she tasted. I wanted more. I needed her. 

After what seemed like twenty minutes I decided to get out of bed. I didn't take my time, I wanted to go and see Jess. I wanted to wrap my arms around her and kiss her. I wanted her. 

It had been far too long, I had waiting far too long for this. But in the end, it was worth the wait.

Jess POV

I was woken up by the dream I was having. It wasn't a bad dream... more like a dream with Danny and me. 

The thought of Danny made me smile. Had It really happened? 

My stomach was filled with butterflies, the smile didn't seem to go away. Even while I was showering, I was smiling. Thinking of Danny's lips on mine gave me goosebumps all over my body. 

I had never felt this way about anyone. I knew deep inside I always had feelings for him. Even if I was involved with other people, Danny was somehow in the back of my head. 

I just never thought that this, what happened last night, would actually happen. I never thought that I would give in to my feelings and tell him how I felt. 

What is even more shocking is that he, Danny O'Donoghue, my brothers best friend, had feelings for me. 

I was brought back to reality by a knock on the door. Immediately I knew who it was. 

I wrapped a towel around myself and walked to the door.

Danny's POV

For a moment we just stared at each other. My heart was beating unevenly. 

What was amazing about this moment was that I could actually lean in and kiss her without worrying about what she may think. Because I knew she felt the same way I did.

At first I didn't even realise she was wearing just a towel. My eyes began to travel down her body. I wanted her. I had wanted her for so long...

''Hey...'' She suddenly spoke, our eyes met once again. 

I didn't reply, instead I leaned in and kissed her. I kissed her like I had never kissed anyone before. 

This time it was real. What I felt for her was real. 

I had to force myself to pull away and let us breath.

''Hey'' I replied, my heart hammering the inside of my chest.

Her cheeks went red, the sight of her made my whole world stop spinning. I was really in love with her.

''Want to come in?'' She asked, I nodded and walked inside and shut the door behind me.
