A Heart Breaking Curse

Chapter 9

Fionna's P.O.V.

Everything is silent I thought, I can't hear the voice. But why?

Mashall's P.O.V.

"So what'd you come here for anyway Marsh?" she said as she walked back into the living room with a bowl of strawberries. Floating above her couch I quickly sat down when she wandered next to me, handing me the bowl before taking a seat next to me.

"I actually came here to get you outta the house" I said, turning to her as I grabbed a strawberry, sucking the red from it.

"Oh, why's that?" She said quietly as I threw the now grey strawberry over the couch while she looked down at her lap.

"Well aside from the fact I haven't seen you in ages, I also know you haven't left the house since the...incident" I said, muttering the last part.

"Marsh I-"

"I know Fi" I said placing my full attention on her "it must've been really hard, but I can't stand to see you like this"

Placing a hand on her forearm I stared into her blue eyes, "You are courageous like no other Fi, and to see you so defeated... I can't watch any longer".

I noticed her eyes starting to water, so I pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm here for you Fi, I'd never hurt you, and I'm gonna be there for you no matter what" I whispered.

"Thank you Marshy" she whispered into my shoulder.

Pushing her back by the shoulders, I raised my hand to her cheek, using the pad of my thumb to brush away a stray tear.

"Ok now enough of the mushy stuff" I said with a chuckle. Standing up from the couch pulling Fionna up with me, "What time is it?" I said excitedly.

Shaking her head slightly with a chuckle, she quickly smiled before pumping her fist in the air, "ADVENTURE TIME!"

That's my bunny I thought with a smile.
