A Heart Breaking Curse

Chapter 2

(End of flashback)

Ugh! I groan as I throw my arm over my eyes and fall back on my bed.

Just as I'm about to start replaying last nights events in my head again, I hear a crash downstairs. I instantly become alert and rush to grab my crystal sword resting against the wall. I slowly creep down the stairs in my red onesie and make my way to the kitchen where more crashing can be heard. Quickly glancing into the kitchen from the doorway, I look around for the source of the crashing only to feel a light breath on the back of my neck. I whip around ready to attack only to find an amused Marshall Lee standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"What the math Marshall! You scared me!"

"Haha, sorry Fi. I was just trying to find some strawberries, but it seems like you're all out."

"Really Marshall? You really need to stop st- Wait? What are you doing here?"

"First of all, I own this house along with everything inside it, including any strawberries you have. Secondly, after you came to my house last night, in tears might I add, I brought you back here and decided to stay until you woke up and might want someone to talk to, seeing as Cake lives with Mono now." He said with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, you're welcome by the way."

Why did I cry infront of Marshall? I mentally graon. Embarresed, my cheeks turn pink.

"Marshall you can't own everything in this house!"

He smirks, realising that I'm changing the subject, but thankfully doesn't call me out on it.

"Why can't I Fi?" He asks, still smirking.

"Because I live inside this house!"

"Your point being?"

"You don't own me Marshall Lee!"

"Fi, I'm the Vampire King and the heir to the Nightosphere. I do what I want, when I want and that includes owning anything I want." He says chuckling.

"You're so annoying!" I yell, stomping over to the couch. With my arms crossed over my chest and my lips pouting, I sit down and furrow my brows, glaring at the wall.

"Aww, is the little bunny upset?" Marshall says as he floats over to me upside down.

I don't respond.

"Come on Fi. You can't stay mad at me" He whispers as he hovers above me, twinsting my blonde hair around his index finger.

He floats down and stands behind me, when he suddenly wraps his arms around my neck in a tight hug and whispers, "Come on Bunny. I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me anymore."

"Fine, I forgive you Marshy." I sigh out.

"Thanks Fi." He says giving me another tight hug before releasing me to stand in front of me with his hands on his hips. "So Fi, now that's over, we need to talk about what happened last night."

I visibly gulp.

"Uh, I don't kno-"

"Fi" He says with his eyes slightly narrowed, daring me to continue my excuse.

"Fine" I sigh "But can we not do it here?"

"Sure. Go get dressed and then we'll go."

I run up the stairs to my room.

Authors Note

Yay! Finally an update! I am really sorry everyone for taking such a long time to update, but i was just struggling to fit it in with my already busy, stressful life.

Anyway, I'm so happy with the amount of reads I've gotten. Thank you to everyone who has been with me since the beginning and to anyone who recently started reading thank you for giving me a chance. When I first posted, I never even imagined I could get so many but hey, I did!

I will definatley try and update more frequently from now one. Sorry again.
