A Heart Breaking Curse

Chapter 1

10 Years Later...

Fionna's P.O.V.

I wake up with a pounding headache and red, puffy eyes.

What happened last night? I think to myself.

(Flashback)

My boyfriend, Flame Prince and I are going out on a date to celebrate our one year anniversary, but I've decided I'm going to surprise him and go over to his house early.

I walk to the Fire Kingdom wondering what his reaction will be when he sees me. I mean, I did get dressed up for the occassion in a blue, strapless, knee length dress with my bunny headband.

I walk through the palace doors, up the stairs and into FP's room to find FP kissing another girl on his bed.

"WHAT THE NIGHTOSPHERE FLAME PRINCE!?"

"F-fionna? What are you doing here early?" As he pushes the girl onto the floor, shocked.

"I came to surprise you by coming early, but I guess I'm the one who got surprised instead!. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN CHEATING ON ME?!"

"I-I can explain.."

"HOW LONG FP?!"

"Two months.." Flame Prince whispers with his head down.

"FP YOU JERK!! I HATE YOU! ITS OVER!" I say as I walk over to FP and punch him in the face.

So glad I have a forever flame shield I think as I run out of the Fire Kingdom.

I keep running until I reach my best friend, Marshall Lee the Vampire King's house. I bang on the door as tears stream down my face. Just as I'm about to knock again, a sleepy looking Marshall opens the door.

"What do you-" Marshall says as he rubs his eyes "Fionna?"

"Marshall" I sob as a run to Marshall and bury my face in his chest.

"Fi? Hey it's okay. Shh. What's wrong?" He says as he wraps a hand around my waist and strokes my long blonde hair.

"F-P *hic* h-he *hic* cheated on *hic* me for *hic* two months" I sob into his chest.

I feel Marshall tense up as I say that, but he quickly recovers by saying "Let's get you home bunny".

Marshall picks me up bridal style and starts to fly towards the tree house.

I curl up into him and slowly drift off to sleep.

Just before I do fall asleep, I hear Marshall whisper "No one hurts my bunny".
