It’s finally the night of Dustin’s party I can’t wait. I blow out my hair and straighten it so it’s super straight. I decided on a red cocktail length dress. It’s perfect. The party is at Hayley’s beach house everyone is already there I just had to get some stuff before. I headed over and was so happy when I see the amount of people out on the beach. I walk in the house to realize there is way more people than just the school. Everyone looked so nice.
I haven’t even talked to Dustin all day. I walk around the house and see him talking to some friends. When he sees me he quickly pushes through the crowd. “Baby I missed you so much. I wouldn’t be able to even enjoy the party if I couldn’t see you.” I roll my eyes and give him a kiss. “Happy birthday babe.” I tell him and he smiles. “Thank you princess.” We start dancing. After a little while I was starting to get tired. “I’m going to go to the bathroom. I will be back though ok?” Dustin nods.
While I was washing my hands someone knocked on the door so I hurried and rushed out. “Sorry about that.” I say as I wipe my hands. “No it’s fine, wait Allie?” I look up to see the least person I expected. “Austin what are you doing here?” He looks at me smiling. “I’m actually moving back to Miami and Charlie texted me about this party.” He looks so cute as usual. He has a shirt on that says Surf or Die. His arms are so muscular and he’s so tan. His gray eyes are still as mysterious as always. “Are you done checking me out?” He smirks as I start laughing.
“You didn’t change a bit. I missed you though. Are you back to your player ways?” He smirks. “Not exactly I haven’t really gotten over you. When I moved in with my dad in Orlando I really wanted to come back here. I missed you. Dad said I had to stay for a semester so I did. I moved back with my mom over Christmas.” He missed me and seeing him reminded me of how much I missed him.
“I was hoping we could possibly pick up where we left off.” He smiles and slips his hands in mine. I open my mouth to reply when someone clears their throat. I look up to see a very angry Dustin. “What’s going on here Allie? Who is this?” I take a step away from Austin. “I um Austin this is my um-“
“I’m her boyfriend and you must be the Austin I heard about.” Dustin says obnoxiously. Austin isn’t someone he wants to mess with. “Dustin stop it’s your birthday. Come on Dustin. Austin I will text you or something nice seeing you though.” I pull Dustin into one of the guest rooms. “I don’t want you talking to him Allie. He obviously still has some sort of feelings for you.” He looks so mad. I don’t know why he’s overreacting like this.
“Dustin, Austin is my friend and I will talk to him whether you like it or not. I allow you to talk to Taylor and you cheated on me with her. Austin and I had a long history but that’s it and you have to trust me talking to him because he’s my friend.”
“I’m sorry I am an idiot. I don’t know what I was thinking. All you do is trust me and I make so many mistakes.” I wrap my arms. “It’s your birthday and I forgive you. I want you to have the best birthday ever.” He kisses me. It’s amazing how our lips fit together so perfectly. He walks us to the bed not pulling away. He lays down as I straddle him. He kisses my neck and I pull away. “I love you.” He smiles. “I know, and I love you too.”
We ended up missing the end of the party. Dustin didn’t mind though our night was way better. I wake up smiling. I can’t believe we did it. It was perfect. I pick up my clothes from the floor and slip them on. Then I grab my phone off the dresser. 3 new messages I scroll through to see 2 are from Austin. I open them. Austin: I guess you’re boyfriend doesn’t like me. Austin: Well I wouldn’t like me either since I’m still crazy about you baby <3.
My cheeks heat up. He still has that effect on me. “What are you thinking about baby?” I didn’t even notice Dustin had gotten halfway dressed. He didn’t put on a shirt though. “I’m just thinking about how perfect last night was.” He walks up to me and presses his front to my back. He whispers in my ear in a husky voice. “Your body is a wonderland.” I push him away. “Dustin you’re such a perv.” He starts laughing hysterically. “You’re an idiot.” I grab his hand and pull him to the kitchen. The place is a mess. Hayley and Adam are in the kitchen too.
