Old Friends

It was now Friday, the night of Pete's party. All week Polly had been going on about how excited she was for tonight. I tried hanging out with Polly more this week but the conversation was always the same, always about how hot Pete is, how excited she is about the party, what we're wearing and how stupid I am for moving out for a week. 

Im at Polly's getting ready and she's all excited but to be honest I'm just excited to see Alex tomorrow. We get changed into the dresses we bought a few weeks back and start doing our make up.

"so Piper you excited to finally be able to catch up with our old friends?" Polly asked 

To be honest I wasn't but I didn't want to ruin the night for Polly because we hadn't been spending much time together lately because of you know.. Alex. 

"can't wait" I said with a fake smile and even faker smile

Polly picked up on the fake-ness quickly "Piper.. you do have other friends besides super cunt and Nicky"

polly started coming up with names to call Alex because the whole week Alex had made it pretty clear she's only tolerating her so she can hang out with me, and also she keeps get her name wrong and calling her Holly or Molly.

"Alex and Nicky are fun to hang out with.." I said

"what and i'm not" She quickly snapped back

"I never said that, Pol.." I replied

she rolled her eyes and sighed a whatever.

"Polly you're my best fucking friend.. of course you're fun to hang out with, which is why i'm coming tonight.. to hang out with you not my old friends" I said as i grabbed her arm to get her attention

Polly smiled and started blushing a bit "well then we better get to the party" she smirked

We got ready to leave and took some photo's then started walking to Pete's place which was about a 5 minute walk from Polly's house.

I quickly messaged Alex while Polly was out of the room.

Piper- wish you were coming tonight:(

and i sent a photo from before to show Alex how i looked. Alex replied about a minute later.

Alex- damn pipes you look gooood, I'm sure you'll have a great night :*

Piper- thanks xo but nah I'm not looking forward to it at all:((

Alex- I'm sure it won't be that bad babe, if you need anything call me ok?

Piper- okay thanks i will :) love u

Alex- Love u too

Polly walked in and saw me smiling at my phone "ready to go?" she asked

"yes, ah yep" I replied as i was distracted from my phone "lets go" I added

It didn't take long to get there and when we got in Polly introduced me to Pete

"Piper this is Pete, Pete this Piper"

"hey how ya goin?" he asked in a very Australian accent that shocked me at first

"hey yeah I'm good thanks" I said as i smiled. Just as i finished a short boy who looked about the same age walked up to Pete

"Hey Pete!" he said as he firmly patted him on the back

"Larry! buddy how ya goin?" Pete asked again in his very Australian accent
