It was Monday morning and Piper seemed a bit excited to go to school, just so she could see Alex. Carol was dropping off Cal and Piper at school today because she was on her way into the city. Whilst they were driving Piper saw two people walking, one with a blonde frizzy mane and the other with raven hair with blue tips at the end. She knew it was Alex, but how is this the first time she's seen her walking?

Alex always walked to school with Nicky. Everyday they got up at 6:30, met each other by the park at 8:00 and then went to the coffee shop at 8:30 then went to school.

Piper was always early to school. Her and Polly always met each other by the lockers at 8:30 then got their books and went to the canteen to by a juice then they would sit down with their other friends and chat.

Piper didn't really like being around her other friends too much, she felt like they were very shallow and judgemental about everything. Two of the meanest girls in the group were Candace and Kylie. Those two were inseparable.

Alex and nicky walked into school laughing and drinking coffee, Piper started to smile and wished she was there.

"ew i hate those stupid dyke bitches" Candace said in a bitchy tone as she noticed Piper starring at Alex

Piper rolled her eyes "i'll see you guys later"

"she is not seriously going to talk to them" Kylie said as Piper was walking away

Piper always thought why she was friends with them when they were always judgmental bitches. I guess it's because I don't really have any other friends and i don't wanna be alone.

"Piper, hey" Alex said as she saw Piper walking towards her

"hey, hey how are you?"

"really good, yeah" Alex said as she was smiling to the ground

"so is the blonde one you haven't stopped talking about" said Nicky as she appeared from around the corner

Alex hit her softly trying to get her to stop

"you must be Piper, I'm Nicky" She said as she stuck out her hand

Piper shook her hand "yeah, hey"

"so there's only a couple minutes left before class and I was uh wondering cause we need to sort out the party if uh could maybe-" Piper said hesitantly

"have my number?"

"yes,," Piper smiled in relief

They switched Phones to put their numbers in them then gave them back "see you later Piper" she said as she smiled and gave Piper this look that made Pipers knees go weak.

Alex was bored in class, Biology wasn't really her thing, she was passing the class but she never had any interest in it. So she decided to text Piper.

Alex- hey how's class going?

Piper- counting down the seconds till its over

Alex- hah same what class do you have next?

"Alex! If i catch you on that phone one more time you will not be getting it back so i suggest you pay attention!"Mr Miles yelled to Alex

"sorry sir" Alex sighed and put her phone away. She couldn't stop thinking about Piper, this was the most vulnerable Alex had felt. She was always used to being strong and independent that it felt weird to like someone this much, or is it even love?
