"You...what?!" Cress loved Thorne. But sometimes, he could be, well, stupid. "It's not like I bet off the Rampion or something. It's no big deal." Now Cress was fuming. "No big deal? Carswell Throne, this is indeed a very big deal!" You see, Cress had every right to be angry. Thorne had foolishly bet that if he could win ten games of poker in a row, then he would get 5,000 univs. But if he lost, he would give up being a Captain. Thorne sighed. "Cress, I was drunk and tired. Plus, I'm obviously going to win with my fabulous skills."
Cress simply rolled her eyes and turned her back on Thorne. "You better win." She mumbled.
Thorne grabbed her waist and pecked her on the lips. "Of course I will. I have luck."
•••••••One Day Later••••••••
"HA! I TOLD YOU!" Thorne did a happy dance around the room grinning at his victory. Cress rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's ecstasy. The corners of her mouth lifted slightly. "I never said you couldn't." Suddenly, Thorne picked her up and swung her around. Cress giggled at the action. Thorne smiled cheekily at her.
"Told you so."
Cress smiled.
"I know."
Thorne then kissed her neck and whispered. "I am so lucky I have you."
She winked and then grinned at him. "Well, duh."
