Cinder scrunched up her eyebrow in confusion. "Why is this not working?" She leaned her head against the wall in defeat. She was trying to fix Iko, and was having little success. She then sat up straight and had an idea. "Okay, so if I tweaked this and replaced this..." She began to mutter to herself and started to work, unaware that someone else was listening in the doorway.
Kai stood there, with a small smile on his face as he watched his fiancé work on Iko. So this is where she has spending her time lately. I should've known. He let her work in peace for a couple of minutes before he decided to interrupt. "I don't want to bother you, but we have to be at dinner in 10 minutes."
She looked up and saw Kai looking down at her with a small smile on his face. She rolled her eyes at him. "To be honest, I really don't care."
"Me either." He leaned down and pecked her lips. He was about to pull away, but Cinder wasn't having that. Her arms wrapped around his neck and kissed him harder. He was surprised and stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. He put his hands on her waist and kissed her back just as much as she did. They made out for at least another 10 minutes.
"Cinder! I feel much better! Thank yo-" Iko blinked. "Oh."
The couple jumped apart, and while doing so, Kai tripped on her toolbox and fell on his butt with very red ears. Cinder glared at Iko. Iko started screaming. "AHHHHHHHH!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!"
"Iko, shut up."
