Lilah swept the teal eye shadow across my eye lid to where it felt like velvet. After we bought the dress, Pearl had helped us pick up some black velvet high heels, a gorgeous necklace that looked like beaded lace with an almost glowing teal pendent in the middle. My hair was falling in gorgeous layers down my back, thick ringlets that weren't being held well but still looked gorgeous. My black earrings were gorgeous, they looked like black diamonds, or pools of dark beauty.
"Okay look in the mirror and tell me what you think" she said, I fluttered my eyes open and looked into the mirror at the gorgeous alien in front of me. Her eyes were a vibrant shade of blue that stood out, the eye liner had little wings on each side and it accentuated my thick eye lashes that were layered with Mascara. My completion was flawless and I had to admit, I looked beautiful.
"Oh my god, Lilah!" I exclaimed, "Thank you!" I screamed, before attempting to throw my arms around her. "Stop. You're going to ruin my masterpiece" I laughed, and looked at my phone. "I need to get going-" I started before Lilah interrupted me, "Wait! I have something for you" she said as she lifted two black silk gloves out of a box.
She slid them onto my arms and I wiggled my fingers. They came up to about my elbows before stopping with a thin lace. "There" she breathed, "You're ready"
I smirked at her, "You're forgetting my mask" She slapped herself, literally, before handing me the mask which was also teal with black lace. The strings were made of black silk ribbon that held it onto my face but didn't hurt me.
She tied it on and gave me a quick embrace, "Go knock his socks off babe" she said, voice a bit wobbly. I gave her a reassuring smile as I walked out the door, a wide smile on my face.

As I walked through the lobby of the hotel, I felt out of place. Which was entirely understandable being that I was walking through a hotel with a floor length princess gown on. I walked through the doors, holding my dress off the concrete as I walked to the limo.
"Ariella Michell?" A man with a distinct french accent inquired. I noticed he was wearing a tux, with the long tail on the jacket. "Yes, sir" I answered confidently. He gave me a curt nod and opened the limo door for me. It took me a couple of moments to get the whole of the dress into the car, but once I had he very politely closed the door.
I looked around the limo, the interior was plush with black leather and a black, sleek bar with purple undertones of light. The glasses were made of crystal and when I popped open the fridge, I was surprised to find it well stocked with soda's and some champagne.
Closing the fridge I leaned back and let myself think, 2 weeks ago I would've never thought that I would be in a limo, going to a masquerade ball with Harry Styles. I was a normal teenage girl who loves to go shopping with my friends, who wrote in her diary when the preppy girls at the school would badger me with names, who longed for a boy that would love me unconditionally.
Could Harry be that boy though?
