The next morning I woke up with a smile and butterflies. All that was on my mind was John.
Last night played over and over in my head.
After a few minutes of staring off into space I decided to get ready for the day.
I took a shower and I called my brother asking if he wanted to go see the Quarrymen at the Cavern with me tonight. I knew that Richard loved their small band.
-----later that evening--------------------
I applied light makeup and put on a nice dress. I was going to go see my John tonight. Oh god was I in love.
I was snapped out of my day dream when somebody knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
"Rose? Where are you?"
I could hear my brothers voice boom through my apartment.
"In here Ritchie!"
I saw my handsome older brother walk into my room with a smile. He gave me a tight squeeze and told me I looked beautiful.
"So anything new happen?" He took a seat on my bed.
"Well I met this guy John Lennon and I really like him and he really likes me and he came over last night and we..." Richard cut me off.
"YOU HAD SEX WITH HIM?!" He yelled.
"No! If you were to let me finish I was going to say we talked for a little and I gave him my number." I rolled my eyes and turned back to the mirror.
"Oh! Well sorry about that. I just don't want you getting pregnant at 18. But if you were to I would definitely support you."
"Thank Ritchie. Oh! Look at the time we have to go. I want to see John before he goes on."
Richard and I hopped down the stairs and walked out the door. He linked his arm with mine and talked about anything and everything.
The walk to the Cavern didn't seem to long as before. Richard and I's arms were still linked and we walked in.
