Chapter 19

Miley's POV

Currently I am at school right now gazing out the window watching the sun rise above the horizon. It was very earlier and I was extra tired since winter break is already over.

Now we are in second semester which means I have to work two times as harder than in first semester. Well that will be easy for me because I am the type of person that love to get their work done.

"Hey." I swiftly turned my head to see one of my good friends, Kendall. She is always into gossip but she is really friendly and caring once you get to know her.

"Hey Ken." I smiled as she sat in Jason's seat, making me notice he isn't here today. I haven't talked to him since yesterday so I have no clue where he is.

"Have you seen Jason?" I asked her with a few suspicions. "He said he had something to do." She said.

I thought of him being in any danger then realized that I can't think of the negative thoughts I just have to be positive.

"Calm down Miley." She said as if she could read my thoughts. I smiled and looked down at the desk hoping that Jason isn't in any kind of trouble.

"Hey Miley." I glanced up seeing Morgan standing before me smiling widely. My grin disappeared almost instantly.

"What Morgan." I said while rolling my eyes with annoyance, I wasn't prepared for his begging and pleading.

"Just because you have a mobster boyfriend, doesn't mean you have to be all cruel and mean." He said.

I wasn't being fair, I am usually the nice type, also known as the person who takes the high road.

"What do you want Morgan?" Kendall asked as if she was fed up with Morgan's lingering. She always gets what she wants when she wants it.

"I heard you guys are taking a little vacation." I rolled my eyes seeing that he wanted in, Jason wouldn't like that especially since he's my ex boyfriend.

"Yeah we are." Kendall spat, I did give a ticket to Kendall too, she has wanted to go too, but her parents hadn't had time like the rest of us.

"I was wondering, maybe we could hang out sometimes, just a friends!" He said quickly. 

He knew Jason is overprotective and if  he knew Jason would do something very bad to him. "I don't know." I replied unsure.

"I'm not trying to make a move on you or anything." He added, but I felt that he was going to end up wanting to get back together.

"I'm still unsure" Kendall fake smiles and waves him away. She didn't like him much, I guessed he just annoyed her a lot.

The bell rung a few seconds later, in result of children scattering everywhere into their seats. Everyone started mumbling then stopped as soon as the substitute came in.

She was tall, blonde, probably late twenties but she looked pretty good. Honestly it looked like it wasn't her first time teaching even though she looks pretty young.

"Ok students listen to the announcements." She said while raising her hand up indicating that everyone had to be quiet.

As soon as the announcements was over she picked up the roll book and started calling attendance. "Miley Cyrus?" She said as more of a question.

"Present." I said confidently and she continued on calling people's names.

At lunch

"Wait, wait, wait, did he ask you out? Because if he has the nerve to just come back here and ask you out that's not going to happen!" Taylor remarked furiously.
