Chapter 17

Miley's POV

Jason and I have a weird relationship, i don't know if we are official right now, but i'm holding out as just friends even though we have shared a few kisses.

He has been really busy lately and i wouldn't blame him, he is in a gang. And he has been more aggressive with the way he has been handling things, like if he drops something he yells out cuss words and punches the wall.

But i am use to it, he is Jason McCann. Currently, i am sitting on his couch holding a Smiley, the puppy. Jason is in his office doing some work, yelling on the phone telling about the shipments that got destroyed and how pissed off he is.

"I don't fucking care! I want them replaced!" i heard him slam the phone down 

in anger. I turned to see him running his fingers through his hair vigorously.

I jumped up a little in the couch making Smiley whimper a little, i stood up and began to comfort the little puppy. "Hey what's going on? " i asked him. "I'm just really stressed right now. I need a drink." he grabbed his jacket and left.

He didn't say goodbye or anything and that was that. I sighed and left Smiley in her dog bed and grabbed my stuff to go. 

I said goodbye to the rest of the boys that were playing video games and left the house.

I got into my car and started it up, then my phone started to ring. I reached for it in the passenger seat as i drove down the road, it was Selena. 

"Hey babe, meet me at the mall food court so we can catch up." she suggested.

It is winter break and i haven't seen her since Christmas. "Sure, i'm on the road anyway." i said making a u turn to go to the mall. The phone hung up and i put it back in my purse. 

At that moment i was wondering about Jason. I hope he is okay.

I pulled up in the parking lot and got out of the car and entered the not so packed mall.

 I went towards the food court, stopping a few times to check out some really cute stuff. I looked in the food court for any sign of Selena.

I spotted her eating a burrito from Chipotle with Taylor. I waved to them and walked over. "Hey guys." i sat down in the seat that was across from Selena. "Hey whats up?" she smiled weirdy causing me to worry a bit.

"Whats up with you?" i asked. "I know your always with Jason." she smiled then rolled her eyes in a playfully way. 

"what?" i dodged the subject a bit, making her push even more. 

"You guys have been spending a lot of time together." Taylor said while taking a sip of her lemonade.

"Because we are friends." i stated, not wanting them to push any further. She nodded sarcastic face, not believing one word i said. "If you want him go get him." i didn't say anything after that.

I don't know what Jason is thinking, if he likes me or not. Maybe i kind of know based on the kiss that we had shared. But something about him just intrigues me

"What about Morgan?" Taylor asked. I have no feelings for Morgan, what so ever. I'm thinking that he wants to get back together but, i haven't really seen him lately. 

"What about Morgan?" i rolled my eyes, what is he even doing here if he doesn't want to get back together? Not like i care or anything.

 "Are you guys getting back together?"
