Chapter 24

It has been about two days since I have talked to Jason. He refuses to make eye contact when our eyes meet and he won't answer any of my texts.

I know I shouldn't be the one to text him first when he has been the one shooting accusations at Morgan for I have know idea what.

He won't talk to me during class or even approach me during lunch. I'm beginning to think this is more than just nothing.

"Give him time sweetie." Kendall said as she sipped on her juice, we were in the loudest cafeteria of all time. Jason's table was behind ours, so I could feel his eyes burning into my back.

"Graduation is soon, I don't want it to end like this." I stated. When we move on with our lives, I don't think Jason intends to move on too, he is in love with the business and he is never letting go.

"Miley, you don't have the slightest idea that Jason might be right about this whole Morgan thing?" Said Taylor.

I don't know if Jason is right, probably he's just paranoid. It's less than possible that Morgan is dangerous.

"He is just jealous because I'm working with my ex on a meaningless project." I protested. He gets jealous easily and thus could be the exact time.

"Sure,I think it's more than that." I heard Kendal whisper, she started avoid eye contact when she saw us staring at her she knew I heard her.

"What did you say Kendall?" Andrew questioned making his way into the puzzling conversation.

She looked at all the intriguing faces around the table with a worried look. "What.." She squealed nervously as sipped on her juice even though, the carton was empty.

"Kendall do you know something?" Selena asked in suspicion, while Kendall shifted in her seat uncomfortably.

"No okay!" She shouted, rolling he her dark brown eyes in the process. Indicating that she was obviously lying.

"Okay....I'll just tell the whole school that your hair isn't naturally straight!!!" She gasped in shock leaving her mouth wide open.

"It is naturally straight!" She spat back.

"Kendall! Just tell Miley what she needs to know, now!" Andrew yelled getting more pissed off, each second going by.

Her face dropped suddenly in a exhausting matter, frowning at the all of a sudden outburst.

"I gotta go." She said quickly grabbing her full tray of food and running to the garbage can to dump it away.

"What the hell is wrong with her?" Taylor said.

"I have no idea." I whispered, she had a secret in Jason and I'm sure as hell in going to find out.

We all looked in the same directions, trying to find Kendall, but there was no luck she disappeared instantly.

"I have to go," I said as my friends watched me get up and leave the silent table.

After j dumped my food away I followed after Kendall, tracing her footsteps. She walked down the hall faster and faster going out the front door of the school.

As I walked down the twelfth grade hallway, I saw through the transparent doors he e standing pulling out a box of cigarettes out of her leather jacket pocket.

"Kendall?" I asked, pushing through the doors.

"Hey." She said plainly while placing a cigarette in her mouth the lighting it with a lighter.

"You smoke?" I questioned, watching her blow out the fumes causing me to cough intentionally. She shrugged still looking at the packed but quiet parking lot.
