~Levi's POV~

Tch, I knew it. That Jean, the Prince of Nothingness was here. Great. What a great dinner to attend. I'm already fed up with him and his arrogance. I'll just sit it out, I guess.

The Princess walked us slowly into the Dining Hall. I must say, it was very elegant. Crystal chandeliers lining the ceiling with bright lights on every corner. There were multiple paintings of her along with loads of furniture. I guess this princess was not as bad as I thought.

"Please, sit yourselves down. You all must be tired." The girl smiled, gesturing to the cushioned, velvet seats.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Jean bowed before sitting.

"Thanks," I said as I took my seat.

"Annie!!" She yelled quite loudly, looking behind her shoulder.

This was not exactly your girly princess.

~Mikasa's POV~

Finally, my newest cook came out around the corner rolling a silver cart over. Her apron was neatly starched with not a single stain on it.

"Yes, Princess!", she called back before rolling the cart up close.

Levi and Jean were there, along with their 2 servants on each side. Man, that brown haired boy reeked of cologne, it pained me to address him so nicely too.

As Annie laid down wet towels in a dish before me, I calmly took it out, softly rubbing the fabric in between my hands, then putting it right down again. Prince Levi seemed to know what he was doing while Prince Jean...was...

I flinched as he stuffed it into his mouth, "This is a lovely appetizer, Princess," He said, gagging.

Sighing, I shook my head, "That's not an appetizer dum-" I quickly stopped myself.

Clearing my throat once again, "Prince Jean, that is not an appetizer, it is a wipe for your hands."

As expected, his face went blank, even his servants shook their heads.

"O-Oh!", he gasped, spitting the cloth out of his mouth. It landed in the dish with a soft plop, as Annie flinched.

With a flick of my hand, the blonde haired girl slowly picked up Jean's dish, then Levi's, lastly mine. Nodding, she put all three on a tray and took it back into the kitchen.

"So, Jean," I faced him, I knew that addressing him as only 'Jean' was a kind of insult. Not many people knew that at the time, I suppose, since he didn't even realize, "What have you accomplished?"

"Erm- well, uh, Princess," He said standing up, "I am a Prince of high nobility. My father was a top leader in many wars and-"

"I'm not asking about your father." I interrupted him sarcastically, "I'm asking what you have accomplished."

"Well, I'm-" He stopped, just as expected. A few moments passed, finally I decided he was taking too long.

"Prince Levi," I said, facing him. He looked me right into the eye--an admirable trait.

"Yes?" He asked, still keeping a straight face. I could tell immediately that this man was someone different, "What is it that you inquire?"

"What have you accomplished?" I smiled. Suddenly, I saw a hint of pink on his cheeks, taken aback, I noticed that I was blushing too. Who was this man?

--------------------------------------------

~Levi's POV~

What's this feeling in my chest? I never expected it. Who was this girl?

Taking a few moments to gather my thoughts, I finally begun.

"I was born from King Erwin Smith and Queen Hanji Zoe of England. Class President and the smartest in my class ever since I was young, I had high ambitions. People expected more of me, and I could provide if they asked. I have musical skill in violin. I've been somewhat lonely this past week though..." I stopped, looking at her once again.

~Mikasa's POV~

Class President?

Violinist?

Prince of England?

A throbbing pain struck at my head. "Mhm!" I muffled my cry, startling him. "Princess!?"

He rushed towards me, slowly touching the side of my face with his hand. The action was quick and brief, I felt a lost memory surface, but I had never remembered anything like it.

~Levi's POV~

Her face was soft, as soft as the finest silk. Her eyes told a story, something of long past. I stood there, astounded. Then I rushed out of the room. I had to think. I needed sometime to myself.

"Levi!" I heard her voice behind me as I ran out. I took one glance back at Farlan and Isabel then left the room to the outside world.
