-Levi's POV-
The stench of old books was overwhelming. Such paperwork could have been centuries old already. I remember sneaking into this place when I was only 5 years of age. My mother, however, always forbid me from taking a sincere look around the place. Some of the book titles and covers seemed similar, nagging at the back of my mind like a lost memory waiting to be discovered. However, I did not have time for such leisure activities. The rest could wait. Farlan tapped on my shoulder, and I stared at him blankly, turning around, "What? Did you find something?" He only shook his head, "Nothing, Your Highness. I am simply disturbed at the sight of all this dust." I chuckled softly, so was I.
"Hey! Hey!" I spotted Isabel jumping up and down on the far side of the room, "I think I found something!" Immediately hearing these words, I ran over to find an old book. Its pages were worn and the leather binding seemed as to have worn away through the years. Below, on the table it rested on, it read...nothing. Farlan took a step forward and tried to fiddle with the label that rested in front of the book, however it said nothing. On all of the other books within the library there listed a title and an author in order to identify the maker and name of the book assigned. It was quite peculiar that the singular book that rested on the far end of the library read nothing. Opening the book, the pages were blank as well. "Huh?" I touched the crusty paper, wrinkled under my skin, "It says nothing."
I looked around and saw Farlan and Isabel, however I could not hear them. "Wait, what?" I spoke these words, but it did not reach them. Their mouths kept moving, trying to convey a certain message. Not knowing what to do, I looked back at the book. Suddenly, golden figures appeared across the pages. Symbols, or glyphs drawn to perfection appeared in front of me as well, blocking my vision as I crumpled to the floor. I guess my knees became weak. Words and sounds rushed though my head and blurred my vision once more. I tried to yell for help, but stopped knowing that no one would hear me.
"Congratulations! You have been chosen, the awaited adventurer of this place. I see you have lost someone, yes?"
What? What is this voice? I tried my best to nod my head in silent acknowledgement of the question.
"I see. Did you have a plan to get her back?"
"No." I grunted, still on the floor with my head towards the ground.
"Therefore, you must go on a quest. Defeat me, and I shall give her back."
An image appeared in my mind, the Princess encapsulated inside a crystal gem, clutched in the hand of the voice I was hearing.
"What do I have to do?" I yelled, enraged at Mikasa's helpless position.
"You'll see!" The voice had an eerily cheerful voice. "Good luck."
My vision then turned black. I'll get you back...I promise.

HELLO EVERYONE. I AM BACK FROM A ONE YEAR HIATUS.
(lol) I've just been so busy with high school that it has been a very turbulent ride through freshman year. After finishing my summer projects, I decided to get back to this. I know, yes, you are all probably annoyed at my absence. I sincerely apologize for that. Look forward to further updates, all coming soon! :) -MikasaTheVocaloid
