~Levi's POV~

The first entree was warm, soft bread with the creamiest butter on the side. I had to admit, it was ever better than the bread that Farlan usually made. I could immediately tell that this girl was the real deal. How often would you get to see a princess of this high rank and class?

"So, how's your life here?" I asked, picking up the royal red napkin that lay beside my other utensils.

"Nothing much, the usual luxurious days, except when my mother and father call me over every 5 minutes...", she grumbled as her face darkened with anger, "Same with you?"

"Definitely, really annoying," I groaned, picking up another slice of bread.

"You can say that again..." Mikasa picked up her glass with delicate fingers before taking a small sip out of it.

The main dinner was spectacular. Like none I had ever seen in my entire life. Literally, the best dinner you could have. It was luxuriously cooked filet mignon, with a side of cream and asparagus.

"Do you get to eat this every day?" I asked, swallowing the warm steak, oozing with juices.

"Eh, sometimes..." Her hand slowly picked up her fork and spiked a stalk of asparagus.

"I never get this at my house," I chuckled, "You're lucky..."

"Well, if you want to...you could come over to my house...", she said. A hint of pink on her cheeks was slowly forming as she continued, "Whenever you want."

"Oh, really...?", I muttered, raising my brow. This was a very different occasion, seeing that the fairest princess in the world would invite me to her house everyday on our first meeting.

"Y-Yeah,", she cast her glance back to her plate, slicing a piece of the steak carefully.

"Then, I would gladly accept, Princess Mikasa," For once the name sounded smooth on my tongue, like it was a second nature to me. It must have been her name, but there was definitely something else.

-Time Skip!-

"Prince Levi, what would you like for dessert? We have a variety of chefs and desserts. Request whatever you would like.", her sweet voice rang in my ears as Mikasa's servant, Eren picked up my plate.

"Pudding would be nice," I asked of her. Suddenly, her eyes brightened up. A smile on her face.

"PUDDING?!", she yelled, jumping out of her seat as slamming her hands on the table, "You like pudding?"

I nodded quickly, quite surprised at her sudden outburst. It was actually scary, for once.

"Yes!" She jumped again and dashed over, giving me a hard hug that knocked me off my seat.

"Uhh, haha..." I groaned, she weighed at least 68 kg.

"Oh my," she gasped, noticing her awkward position on my chest. Sitting on me, literally.

"Princess, 2 puddings right-?" Armin walked in, just in time to see the sight, "Sorry! Sorry!" Quickly, he dashed back out the door.

"Oh, Armin..." Mikasa said, scratching her head, struggling to get off me, "I'm sorry. I just get...excited when I see similarities between me and other people..." Her face was red as she offered me a hand.

"No problem, it's my pleasure," I put my hand in hers, standing back up.

------------------------------

"A dish of pudding for Prince Le-" Eren offered me, about to set the dish in front of me.

"No, for the Princess Mikasa first." I insisted, princesses must come first before anything.

He silently nodded before handing it to Mikasa, slowly setting in in front of her.

"Thank you!", smiling, she dug in immediately.

"Prince Levi," the brown haired boy set the platter before me.

The pudding was sweet and light as I put a spoon in my mouth, better than any creme brulee I had ever had.

"Like it?" Mikasa asked, gesturing to the dish.

"Very," I responded, eating another bite.

The food, the servants, and especially the Princess was all I cared about at this moment. But, how long would it last?
