Chapter 15

-Levi's POV-

"Ahh!" I gasped as I sat up. A throbbing pain hit my head as I fell back down to the ground.

"Levi!" I heard Mikasa's  voice as saw her faded figure grasping my shoulders.

"Ah..." I blinked once or twice, 'Was this all a dream?'

"LEVI!" I jolted awake as her eyes met up with mine.

"M-Mikasa?" I sat back up, letting a hand fall to the side to prop me up as  I looked around me. The sky was blue and speckled with white clouds. Trees lay around me as I was lying down in the shade accompanied with everyone, including Mikasa.

"The mansion wasn't attacked?" I turned to Farlan.

"No, Your Highness..." There was a slight tone of inquiry in his voice, "Why do you ask?"

"It's nothing..." I sighed, laying back down and closing my eyes. So it was just a dream...

Mikasa scooched up beside me and placed her hand on my forehead, "You have a fever, too."

She quickly got up and called to Farlan, "Farlan, would you get a glass of water for Levi? He seems stressed..."

"Yes, Your Highness!"  Farlan saluted her and rushed off back to the main mansion

Mikasa turned back to me, "Why did you think the castle was attacked in the first place?"

"Well, I guess I just had a bad dream. You killed Jean too..." I shuddered, even though I absolutely detested the man. He was just another nuisance, but the thought that he would actually be killed by Mikasa startled me quite a bit. It just wasn't normal.

"Tch," Mikasa interrupted my train of thought, "I wish I could have..." Her face turned into a dark expression. I flinched, not out of fear, but just pure strangeness on how this princess was acting this way. Was this the real Mikasa I knew?

"Well, here's your water, Prince Levi!" I accepted the glass graciously and nodded to Farlan who bowed in reply. The cool liquid slid down my throat as I was immediately refreshed. Nothing happened, none at all.

"Levi!" Isabel rushed up to me, "You have a visitor."

"Who?" I asked, setting the glass back down on the grass.

"Prince Jean of Belgium--and he says he want's a serious discussion."
