We stared at each other for a long time. It took everything I had to not lunge at him and choke him right then and there. Anger flooded through my veins. I began to sweat and my heart beat faster with each passing second. He paced around the room and walked up to me. I stood back, glaring at his deformed face.
"A good student bows to their master and shows them respect" he said grimly.
"And a good master doesn't slave their student to death and especially-" I cut off.
"That doesn't matter anymore my daughter. Come with me and I promise to never be that man again" he said.
"That sounds nice but I already made my decision" I said with a sarcastic smile.
His fist clenched. I folded my arms and sighed angrily. I kneeled back down to finish undoing Mai's bindings. But he grabbed my wrist forced me to look upon his wretched face.
"Let me go!" I demanded.
"Only if you put your skills to use. I didn't waste all that time so you could throw it away" he warned.
"Never again! You know I left that forever! Stop tormenting me!" I yelled breaking his grasp.
"If you refuse to go by will, you will leave by force! And Mai will be destroyed!" he threatened.
"Fine! But you must swear no harm will come to her!" I explained.
He nodded once and gestured me to leave. I followed after Mai was free. I smiled evily and thought of a way to do what I want and keep him fooled. This will be an interesting experiment.
