I didn't move. All I could do was think: Was this really happening? Leo pulled away and we stared at each other before I spoke. 

  "I don't want to be rude but: what was that for?" I asked. 

  "I didn't want you to panic so I kissed you" he replied. 

I blushed like crazy and smiled uncontrollably. 

  "Will you please reconsider and be my girlfriend?" he begged again. 

  "Leo... as much as I would love that, what about your family and their feelings towards me. I have to think about them to, otherwise I'd say 'yes'" I explained. 

  "I understand. Sorry about kissing you if you weren't ready I juts tho-" I cut him off.

  'Don't be sorry it was great! But one things still has to be decided" I said.

  "What's that?" he asked confused.

  "Are we still friends?" I asked nervously.

  "You know what? I don't care what my family or friends think of you because it's their problem not mine. And if you would like to be my friend again I would be so happy Karai" Leo explained with a smile.

I smiled back and stood up. 

  "I've gotta go but we can be friends again" I said holding out my hand for a shake. 

 He took and blushed. 

  "Hey Karai... can I walk you home? I would really like to see where you live" Leo asked shyly. 

I nodded and he followed me.

We arrived at my front door step and we hugged 'goodbye'. 

  "Maybe we could walk to school together?" I suggested.

  "Sure. I'll be here around seven thirty" he said and ran off. 

I walked inside with a huge smile. But it ended when my 'father' greeted me at  the door.
