The next at school, I waited for Leo outside but didn't see him. The bell was going to ring so I has to go inside. I went inside homeroom and saw him sitting down. He was talking with a friend and I waved at him. He didn't see me. The final bell rang and I sat next to his seat. 

  "What's up?" I asked. 

He never said a word. He didn't even look at me. And that's how it was the whole day. I tried everything to get him to talk to me or his attention. Even his brothers were ignoring me except for Mikey. 

  "It has nothing to do with you. He's just having a hard time right now figuring things out that no one knows" Mikey explained. 

  "That's too bad. Should I give him some space then?" I asked.

  "If you want to. I heard that he'll only talk to you right now and not any of us. He won't even talk to Splinter" he said. 

  "But how can he talk to me if he's ignoring me?" I asked confused. 

Mikey just shrugged his shoulders and got up to leave. I made up my mind to confront Leo after school and ask him what his deal was.

  "Leo wait up!" I yelled out when the bell rang for the end of school .

He turned around and had a nervous look on his face. 

  "Hey Karai" he said not looking at me. 

  "I want to know why you're not talking to me" I demanded. 

He froze and began to sweat while turning beat red. 

  "I... I don't want to upset you but... we can't hang out anymore" he said finally looking up at me.

  "Why not? Did I do something wrong?" I asked holding back tears. 

  "No you did nothing wrong it was all my fault. When I heard who your dad was I couldn't believe it" he said not making sense. 

  "What do you mean? Do you know him?" I gasped. 

  "No... but Splinter does and he doesn't really want us talking anymore. I should've told you the second I found out my brothers told Splinter what happened the night you told me about yourself. They eavesdropped and told our him everything and that's why they're ignoring you. They hate liars and despise them" Leo said. 

  "So your whole family knows who I really am?" I asked hesitantly. 

  "Yes. And I'm sorry Karai. I never meant for this to happen to us. All I wanted was to be your friend and have fun but... we can't now" he said sadly. 

I couldn't decide whether to be angry or sad. So I went with both. 

  "Fine Leo. If you don't want to be my friend, then I don't want to be yours" I growled walking away. 

And that's when I cried.
