Chapter 6

Emma's POV

Today has been a good day. I heard Killian was out of the hospital. I walked to my bug and drove home when I got out of my car Belle was waiting for me outside.

"Belle hey everything okay?"

"No Emma everything is not okay. My son hates me." She says.

"Aww Belle Im sorry. Just give him time."

"Anyway would you like to go to Granny's with me tonight?" She asks.

"Sure why not I will see you there."

"Great until then." She says and walked away.

When I walked inside I saw my dad on the couch watching TV.

"Emma your home good." He says.

"Dad if this is another I think Arthur caused the crash thing again your wrong."

"Emma he didnt seem shocked when we found Milah and Killian the ones in the car." He says.

"Dad listen Arthur didnt really know either of them. Plus he has changed he had to for his daughter Violet and he is try to get custody of her, but Gwen wont let him."

"Thats because Gwen knows Arthur is a psychopath." He tells me.

"Why are you saying this?"

"Emma I want you safe." He says.

"No you saw Arthur change for me. Your only saying this because Killian is back! Well news flash I dont love Killian anymore."

"Well sorry I bothered you." He says and walked out.

David's POV

I left Emma and I knew what her problem was. She is lost and confused and I know deep down she knows who she wants. No matter what she knows. I decided to go grab a drink at Granny's. When I walked in I saw Killian sitting alone. I order my drink and sit across from him.

"David what do I oh the pleasure?" He ask.

"Killian I need to know. You can leave the town at anytime, but you havent yet. Why?"

"Dr.Whale thinks I should stay an extra few days before I can go." He says.

"Do you know about Emma and Arthur?"

"Are you going to yell at me and say Im stupid and should break them up? Or maybe your going to realize that I love her and want her happy even though it isnt with me?" He says.

"Wow. Thats a tough one, but I like how you want her happy. Also I want her and Arthur broken up. I think he had something to do with your crash. Also I do think you stupid for not going after Emma."

"Look David I want Emma happy. I dont think she belongs with Arthur, but he makes her happy." He says.

"Okay. What do you think about the crash thing?"

"I dont think he had anything to do with it." He lied.

I know he was lying it was like the first time I arrested him all those years ago. He does look me in the eyes, but his eyes move slightly away.

"Killian if you know something you must tell me. It will make Emma safer."

He looked at me and reached into his pocket. Then took out a piece of paper he then looked up at the door and put the paper away. I looked behind myself and saw Emma.

"I have to go." He says and gets up fast and leaves.

He knew something and seeing Emma made it hard on him. The women he loved in the past and never let go of the love for her. All he has to do is tell her and I know they will be better and Arthur will be out forever.
