Chapter 23

Emma's POV

After a few hours of waiting to know if both Regina and Neal will be okay the doctor finally came back.

"I have news and its not good." He says.

"Please dont say one is gone." My mom says.

"Not yet, but its possible they both might make it through. Its not likely." He tells us.

"Can we at least see them?" Zelena asks.

"Yes you can." He says to her.

We all went into Regina's room. She didnt look so well. She and I have become best friends. I looked over at Zelena who was crying very hard. She was so upset that my mom hugged her. We all left and Robin was in the room.

"Robin you wanna see Neal?"

"Not yet Em I just wanna stay with her for a bit." He says.

"Okay."

I walked into Neal's room and both Zelena and Gold were a wreak. I felt so bad that I ran out of the room and outside the hospital.

"Swan! Swan!" Killian yells after me.

"What?"

"Whats wrong Love?" He asks.

"Nothing."

I tried to hold in the tears and just looking at the hospital made me cry.

"Come here." He says.

I walked over to him and hugged him tightly and cried into his chest.

"This is all my fault."

"Emma look at me. You didnt do anything." He says.

I looked into his eyes the eyes I used to love and still do love. I was about to kiss him when Robin came outside.

"Emma! Killian! Its Neal someone needs to control Zelena!" He yells at us.

Neal was Killian's best friend so might having him die will hurt him. We went inside and saw Zelena a mess on the ground.

"Zelena. Hey your okay."

"No Emma he went into shock Im going to lose him." She says crying.

"Zelena I have a question. I left you alone because of Neal, but do you know what happened?"

"Yes. Merlin attacked Nimue and she shot him. We all scattered around knowing Killian had you safe. When Nimue pulled out a gun and was about to shoot Lily and your father got in the way saving her. Mr.Gold then attacked her but she got his leg. When Belle saw she went after her, but Nimue was to strong she pulled up the gun up to her thats when Regina took the shot instead making enough time for Belle to get out. We finally saw Merlin on the ground dead thats when I was really mad I wanted to attack her, but she was just on all fire firing everywhere. I went out into the open I didnt care I just wanted to avenge Merlin's death Neal then pushed me out of the way taking that bullet in the back. That when Nimue was about to end us all she though something that made smoke that possible made us all pass out and not really remember cause we all hit our heads. The last thing I remember seeing was Arthur stabbing Nimue in the back. Saying that was for trying to hurt Emma." She says crying.

I looked at everyone and they all seemed to slowly remember what happened.

"But Killian and I were gone for weeks and you all have been here for a week in a half what happened during the other week and a half?"

"Oh that we all were trapped still in her crazy place. She stopped us all at first an said we got only a few days left together and then the day it happened we finally got out and yeah thats what happened." She tells me.

"Thank you Zelena for that information."

"No problem Emma. Now if you'll excuse me...." She says.

She walked up to the doctor and slaps him in the face.

"Zelena. No." Robin says.

"Im sorry everyone, but Neal has left us." Dr.Whale says.

Zelena then got on the ground crying. Mr.Gold went outside and Belle followed.

"Noooo. Nooo. Neal..." Zelena cried.

"Im sorry. I know how you too were like brothers." Robin says to Killian.

"No its okay know that he risked himself for the ones he loved is all I needed to know." Killian says tearing up.

"Killian..."

"Not now Swan." He says leaving.

"Noooo. Noooo. I cant lose him." Zelena says crying.

"Zelena hey look at me. Until your ready to go home come stay with me for awhile."

"Really Emma. I can?" She asks.

"Yeah. Come on lets get out of here and I will make some hot tea and we can talk."

"Yeah I guess so." She says.

"Thats great you go get some rest." Robin says to her.

"You will keep me posted on my sister right?" She asked him.

"Of course. You will be the first." He says to her.

I looked back at him and nodded. Zelena and I saw Mr.Gold crying on the steps with Belle. I looked over to the ocean and saw Killian's ship.

"Do you mind if we check on Killian? Neal was like his brother."

"Not at all." She chocked out.

We went to his ship and I saw him out the deck he was sitting there crying.

"Killian? Im taking Zelena to my place your welcome to join us."

"No thanks." He says.

"Oh okay."

I walked away with Zelena once we get to my place I make the tea and sat her on the couch. She just stared off into the fireplace when the doorbell rang. I got up and answered it. Killian was standing there with very red eyes.

"Maybe I could join." He says slightly crying.

"Yeah come on in."

"Hey Swan." He says.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you." He says.

"Your welcome."

He sits down on the couch. I watch him and Zelena both look off to the distance. This must be hard for them both. I looked back at Killian again hoping that he would just come up to me and kiss me already now.
