Chapter 10

A/N Im going to say that Emma's Brother's name is Oliver. I know its Neal in the show.

Mary-Margaret's POV

Emma just called and she sounded super happy. Then she told me that she is engaged. I made dinner for Oliver and waited for David to get home. I sat down on the couch and I know I should be happy, but Im not I cant figure out why. David came in an hour later and when I saw him I grab his hand and pull him to our room.

"Whats up?" He asks.

"Arthur proposed to Emma and she said yes."

He looked at me and instead of a smile he looked down and frowned and then he looked up at me.

"Thats great." He says quietly.

"You dont seem that happy."

"Im not. I just thought that when Emma got engaged it would be to Killian." He tells me.

"Me too. Wait I thought you didnt like Killian?"

"No I still dont like him its just the way he treated Emma made me think she would marry him." He says.

"I know, but what I cant figure out is why Im not totally happy. Im her mother and I like Arthur and Emma together."

"Maybe your mind likes Arthur, but your gut doesnt trust him." He says.

"What does that mean?"

"Look I want to tell you something. Killian was planning on telling me something about his crash, but as soon as Emma came in he left." He tells me.

"Well something tells me that whatever it is its big."

"Yeah same here, but he wont hurt Emma in any way." He says.

"I know."

Emma's POV

I told my mom about Arthur and I and she sounded happy. Arthur left a few hours ago and I needed some air. I went for a walked to my favorite place. When I got there I saw someone sitting down on the bench and I knew who it was. I walked over to him and sat down.

"Cold night isnt Swan." He says.

"How did you know it was me?"

"You come her when you think also I smelled your perfume. Still smelling like Vanilla." He says.

"Shut up Killian."

"So what brings you here to think on this night?" He asks.

"Just alot going on."

"Like what? Everyone returning or Arthur's proposal?" He asks.

"You know about that?"

"Yeah I do know about everyone coming back." He says laughing.

"Not what I meant Jones."

"Yes actually Arthur and I had a talk and he didnt know how much you cared for him and when I said you really did care for him he got the idea to propose." He tells me.

"Wow."

"You love him right?" He asks.

That was the first time someone really asked me that. I mean my parents have asked and some friends asked as well but the answer was the same it was alway yes. Now being asked that from Killian I wasnt to sure anymore. Why am I thinking this way? Oh no he is looking at me. Those deep blue eyes. God Emma speak.

"Yeah I love him and Im glad your back."

"Well Im happy for you, but dont worry Im not here for long." He says.

"Well you know your welcome here right?"

"Yeah I do its just some many memories." He says.

"Well I hope they are good."

"They are its just all I have is this ship here its not really a home." He says.

"There are homes around here if you wanted to stay."

"I'll look into that thank you." He says.

"Your welcome and Goodnight."

"Goodnight Emma." He says getting up.

Why am I now happy? Is it because Killian might stay? Maybe it might be that Im still in love with Killian?
