Chapter 9

Arthur's POV

I have to get things done in time to propose to Emma tonight and I had the perfect plan. First I stopped by the flower shop and picked out some beautiful Pink Roses.

"Is that all sir?" The woman asks.

"Yes it is."

"Your Arthur arnt you?" She asks.

"Do I know you?"

"Actually no. Im friends with Emma. The names Belle." She says.

"I've heard great things about you. Emma talked about how close you two were. I hope you get that close again."

"Me too. Well here are your flowers have a nice day." She says.

I take the flowers and put them in my car. The next stop was the Jewelry store for the perfect ring. When I walked inside a beautiful ring caught my eye.

"I'll take this one."

"Excellent choice." The man says.

"Im sure she will love it." A voice said from behind.

"Neal nice to see you."

"Yeah I dont know if nice is the word Im mean the last time I saw you. You had killed a man and the body traumatized my girlfriend." He says.

"Sorry about that really its just that isnt me any more. On another note you really think Emma will love it?"

"Yeah she will." He says.

"Neal I am sorry, but question you have been with Zelena for 10 years why havent you asked her to marry you yet?"

"Well Im in a jewelry store back in our town we grew up in. What do you think Im here for?" He asks.

"A ring?"

"Yeahhh... No actually I work here." He tells me.

"Well have a great day."

"You too and good luck." He says.

When I walked out of the shop I new there was one thing I had to do and that was to get things ready. I went over to Emma's and since she gave me a key a year ago I am setting things up in there. The room was perfect Flowers everywhere and now all I have to do is wait for her to come home.

Regina's POV

It was now 7pm and Neal told us to meet him at his dad's shop.

"Whats up Neal?"

"Well everyone listen Arthur is proposing to Emma tonight." He says.

"What?" Zelena asks.

"He cant do that." August says.

"Emma wont say yes. Will she?" Lily says.

"This is a joke right."

"No Regina Neal is right I should have guessed when he bought a ton of flowers." Belle says.

"Guys lets not talk about this with him right here." Robin says pointing at Killian.

"No its okay." Killian says.

"Killian how can you be okay with this?"

"Because Regina I gave him the idea." He says.

"You what?"

"I didnt mean to. I just said she loved him very much and then he said he was going to ask her." He says.

"Once again your stupid."

He got up and walked away from us. Why is he being this way I hope he knows that if he doesnt do something fast Emma wont be his ever again.

Emma's POV

I was finally done with work and I was ready to go home and sleep. I walked past Gold's shop and saw people staring at me. I was about to go when someone called my name.

"Emma." The voice says.

I turned around and saw him standing there.

"Killian hey."

"Look I just wanted to say thank you for saving my life." He says.

"Anytime."

"Emma I also want you to know that Arthur has something big for you and I want you to know that I talked to him and he has really changed and Im happy that your happy." He tells me.

"Thank you Killian."

I walked away and went inside my house. When I turned around I saw Arthur on one knee in a circle of roses.

"Emma, Will you marry me?" He asks.

I nodded my head and he put the ring on and kissed me. We pulled away and I hugged him. Im happy very happy, but why does this not feel right? Why do I feel like something is missing?
