Love Is Forever

Chapter 24

Belle's POV

Today was Neal's funeral and Rumple wasnt himself and I understood why. He loved his son very much and now he was gone. Its been a month since he had passed and Rumple has pushed back the funeral for awhile, but it was time to put Neal to rest. Everyone came to this except Regina she was still in the hospital. Emma had both Zelena and Killian with her out front. We walked over to them.

"Zelena Mills and Killian Jones would you both stand up there with me and make a speech please." Rumple says.

"Yeah I would be happy to do that." Killian says.

"Zelena would you?" Rumple asks her.

She nodded slowly trying to to cry. Rumple, Killian, and Zelena all walked in and went to the front of the church. I sat with Emma.

"Do you think they will be okay up there?"

"I dont know. Zelena barely speaks. Killian tries to pretend he is okay." She tells me.

"Rumple didnt even want to talk but I made him."

"They are all something special for Neal. His father, his best friend, and the women he loved." She says.

"Yeah I know its sad."

The service speaker talked for alittle bit and then it was their turn to talk. They couldnt decided who would speak first and Killian then stepped forward.

"Umm I will start by saying this isnt the first time I had to do this. Its the fourth time I have to say goodbye to someone close to me. Neal and I grew up together all ways playing around getting into trouble. He was like a brother to me. He was there for me when my mom died. He told me things would get better. Then a few years later my dad passed again he told me things would get better. Not to long after that mg brother sadly past away and once again he told me it would get better. I think he was just trying to boost my sprits. One day he had a decision to try and kill me. I stopped him by just being his friend. That very night he and I had the most memorable talks. I told him about someone and he knew that I knew what he was going to say. He said Killian I told you things would get better. Now he is gone so I ask you all now who will tell me things will get better? Thats right I will forever hear his voice tell me that when ever things go wrong." Killian says.

He tried to old the tears in, but one slipped out. The room was filled with people crying. Zelena tried to move close, but couldnt so Rumple stepped up.

"Hello everyone all those here knew Neal as a bright young man or as a troubled teen, but I knew him forever. He was my son, my light, my joy. He lost one sister 8 years go to plane crash her name was Marian. Recently he had lost his sister Milah. When they were 10 the lost there mother to cancer. Now my son is with them forever in my heart. Neal will never leave us inside. He had a family that loved him. A friend who would do anything to make sure he was fine. Then later on he found a girl that loved him. My son will be missed by all, but I know he is in a better place and one day I will see him again." He says crying.

Everyone was in tears and crying. It was finally Zelena's turn. She looked sad and scared.

"Hi everyone Im Zelena. Neal will always be my hero. Not because he was my boyfriend, but because he risked his life for me. I didnt think he would. I didnt know he would leave me if I did I wouldnt have been so stupid to try and hurt that monster. Neal was my friend and my other half and now he is gone. My love for him will always be strong. I will miss him, but not as much as Killian the best friend who knew Neal better and I wont miss him as much as his father will those two have the right to miss him more then me. Now I lost Neal and my mother was a crazy woman, my father killed himself, and now I dont know if I will have to stand up like this again and say goodbye to my sister. Anyway Neal will forever be in my heart. Just as all of your hearts will hold him dear. He will never leave us. Rest In Peace Neal." She says crying very hard.

Emma's POV

I watched Zelena talking to Arthur and Dr.Hopper she seemed okay. Belle was with Gold making sure he wasnt going to lose his mind. I looked around for Killian, but I didnt see him.

"I think he left." Robin says.

"Why would he leave?"

"Because its Killian. No I think everyone talking about Neal makes him sad." He tells me.

"Yeah I know. So how is Regina any news?"

"Not yet, but I going over there to see her." He says.

"Okay call if anything changes."

"I will... Oh and Emma sorry." He says.

"Sorry for what?"

"Well a month ago today I ran outside at night telling you and Killian that something was wrong with Neal." He says.

"Robin you did a good thing telling us. No big deal."

"No Em you guys were about to kiss." He says.

"Thats all behind us now."

"Emma Swan dont say that." Zelena says.

"What?"

"I cant tell Neal I love him ever again." She says.

"And I might never get the chance to tell Regina how I feel." Robin says.

"But you can. You can tell Killian." Zelena says.

"Its either tell him or lose him." Robin says.

"Im not going to lose him."

"Emma you said that you will always love him and never stop. You said you would force your heart to another even if it didnt belong. You have to go to Killian and tell him." Arthur says.

"It will do two things. One make him happy to know you love him. Two it will finally make him smile again." Robin says.

"Are you all sure?"

"Emma your friends are right its time." My dad says.

"Killian has been here for awhile and staid because you asked him too. I think its been long enough. Go to him." My mom says.

I looked at all my friends and everyone was waiting for me to get up.

"Okay to Killian I go."

I hope I find him and tell him I love him. I hope he feels the same way for me as I do him. Killian Jones Im coming right for you.
