Chapter 36

Killian's POV

I walked over to Mary-Margaret's place to talk to her about asking her daughter for her hand in marriage. I would ask Emma's father, but sadly he is no longer with us. I knocked on her door and she answered.

"Killian, what brings you here?" She asks.

"Well actually I came to ask you something."

"Come on in." She says.

"Thanks."

I walked inside and sat on the couch.

"Would you like something to drink?" She asks.

"No thank you."

"So what do you want to ask me?" She asks.

"Well you know I love you daughter very much and well I was wondering. If you would allow me to ask her to marry me?"

"Killian thats so sweet. Yes you can." She says hugging me.

"Thank you so much. I have one more thing."

"Okay what now?" She asks jokingly.

"I would even know how to ask her. What if she says no."

"Killian it doesnt matter how you ask her or where you ask her. She will say yes she loves you." She tells me.

"Okay your right. Emma isnt like other girls she is special."

"There you go." She says.

"Thank you very much Mary-Margaret."

"Sure thing." She says.

After I left I saw all my friends waiting for me.

"Well...." Robin says.

"I havent asked her yet."

"Killian you said last month that you wanted to marry Emma. Why havent you asked yet?" Regina asks me.

"Look I just want everything to be perfect."

"You should do something big." August says.

"Like will you marry me in rose petals outside her window." Belle says.

"Or you could make a beautiful jester in front of the whole town making her feel special." Zelena says.

"Or have it written in the sky." Arthur says.

"Even better in fireworks." Lily says.

"Okay I get it. It has to be big."

I planned a picnic in the park and I had candles around the area. I sent Emma a note and she will follow Rose petals all the way to me. Then later a sky writer will tell us to meet in the town where every town goer will be waiting inside Granny's. Lastly fireworks asking Emma to marry me. What could go wrong? It was finally time to go.

Unknown's POV

Emma got the note and smiled at it. She was really happy to spend the night with Killian. He was very nervous he was scared that she didnt want to move this fast and would not want to marry him. Killian made his way to the spot and waited for Emma. Once she arrived everything was going great, but then a squirrel ran though making candles fall over and the blanket catch fire. The two just got up and threw water on it making the fire go out. Killian was very upset and then he heard the sound of the sky writer and its said...Go into town. They followed  the institutions and headed into town. It was the time for the fireworks. Things will be fine and then the fireworks went off and it didnt go to well. The fireworks read... I Emma Will Love Swan Jones You Killian Me May... Yeah thats what it said out of order and marry was missing the r's. Well that didnt go as planed at all.

Emma's POV
Tonight has been a strange night and now Killian looked sad.

"Swan I have to go see you tomorrow Love." He says.

"I thought you wanted to watch a movie on your ship tonight?"

"Right come along." He says grabbing my hand.

Killian's POV

Tonight sucks now I have to take her back to what would have been my perfect night just cuddled up with the one I love. Now its the same thing just not with a ring on her finger. I had set up the room just like I did all those years ago for out official first date. I walked her down in the room and put my arm around her.

"Killian tonight was fun." She says.

"Really? It wasnt my best. I wanted everything to be perfect."

"Killian it already was perfect. All I want was to spend my time with you and I got it." She tells me.

"Emma I love you."

"I love you too." She says.

"Tonight didnt go as planned because I had this whole plan to ask you to marry me and it failed."

"You were going to ask me to marry you?" She asks.

"Yes Love I was, but what everyone said to do and how to do it together blew up in my face."

"If you didnt listen to everyone how would you have asked me?" She ask.

"Well I would say what came to me."

"Well speak." She says.

"Emma Swan, I was so mean and rude to you right away, but I then found love with you. Its been one crazy ride and after years of being apart we found our way back. My love for you never stopped and I just want to spend everyday with you for the rest of my life. So Emma Swan, Will You Marry Me?"

I got down on one knee and opened the box and she looked at me and smiled.

"Yes Killian I will." She says and kisses me.

I put the ring on her finger and kissed her. She pulled away and smiled at me.

"I really love you."

"You see it didnt matter how you didnt all that matters is that I love you and you love me." She says.

"Why are you so perfect?"

"Im not perfect, but with you I feel complete." She says.

I pulled her close and kiss her again. We pulled away and cuddled while getting ready to watch a movie. I should have listened to her mom when she told me it didnt matter about how I asked her. All that matters is now I will be marring my Swan and thats all that matters.
