Entry 6: I'm a Succubus?

To anyone who walks into this quiet diner and view the small group of people sitting at the back for the first time and knows nothing about them, they are most likely thinking, "Aww what a lovely family." While on the other hand, for those who already know them, are saying to themselves, "Some drama is about to go down...."

"So.........,"started Ravia as she twirled the fork in her hand. Everyone had order something to eat and now they were here eating quietly, not saying anything to each other and that made the atmosphere around them a little awkward?

Lucifer looked up.

"So what?" He asked laying his knife and fork down as he paused to wipe the small amount of gravy off his lips with a napkin. Most people would've simply licked their lips to get rid of it but then again Lucifer wasn't most people. He was the devil, the harbinger of all that is evil, king of the underworld, Ravia's father.........

Ravia smiled and straightened up from the slouch that she was in, cracked a smile at Jonah then smiled at Sergei who barely acknowledged her presence as he was lost in the newspaper he was reading as well as used to hide his face. She sighed and turned to face her father. "You said you had something important to discuss with me today..."

Lucifer for a second appeared completely blanked until it lit up as if he had just experienced a light bulb moment. He pushed himself away from the table to give his feet a little space to move. Lucifer then pinned a stare at Ravia.

"It's a good thing you brought Jonah," he said, pointed a finger at Jonah who had finished eating and was lost in his phone or tablet. Jonah who heard his name perked up to listen to what was being said.

"What do u mean?" asked Ravia who looked confused.

"Well...what I have to tell you right now...for this you might need a little moral support to take all this- what I'm about to say to you- in."

"Oh," she replied.

"So we've already acknowledged that I'm Satan and that demons exist as well as other paranormal beings. The fact that you accept all this and the fact that I'm your father means you accept the fact that you might not be fully human right?"

"Well..yeah," replied Ravia. What are you getting at?"

Jonah now had his chin rested in his palms as he leaned on the table, so interested in the conversation transpiring between father and daughter. This sounds intriguing he thought. Sergei only looked up once from the newspaper and went back to browsing through it.

"No need to rush," said Lucifer. " I'm getting to the crux of the matter."

He opened his jacket and rummaged through the pocket that was built inside the suit and removed a small black box from it. He then pushed it towards Ravia. "Consider this an early birthday present better yet part of your present to come."

Ravia picked up the box and opened it.

"Wow," she silently gasped.

Curious, Jonah leaned over to look to see what it was. Inside the box was a stainless silver ring that had amethyst and Jade gems embedded around it in an intricate design like a rose vine. Above them all was a blue diamond that out shunned all the other gems. Inside the ring was engraved Ravia Fontaine Angelus Beaconium.

Ravia looked up with a smile. Her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Thank you."

Lucifer gave a small smile. "That's for all to know that I'm your father and to let you know I'll be in your life to make up for the times I was not around in your life. So that you know that you have a family."

A tear ran down Ravia's cheek. She rummaged through her bag for a handkerchief but found none until one was placed in her hand. She looked up to see who did it and saw that it was Sergei who was still reading the newspaper. She quickly wiped her eyes and looked over at Jonah and saw that he was crying as well. Touched by the heartfelt words from her father. Lucifer handed him an handkerchief as well and he thanked him.

Ravia took the ring from its silken bed and placed it on her right pinky finger. She looked at her Lucifer. "It fits perfectly."

"I'm glad that you love it." He replied. "Now for the second thing..."

"What's that?" She asked.

"So all demons have their specialty. Whether they have powers based on nature or powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, longevity - they stop aging after a period of time etc etc...."

"And?"

"You will be eventually gain some of these powers. After your twenty-seventh birthday you'll stop aging however you have a special power. How should I put this? Hmmm. You are a special kind of demon."

"What kind?"asked Jonah, curious as always.

"Well she's a sex demon..she has the power of persuasion ....lust....," replied Lucifer.

Jonah looked at Ravia eyes wide. " Ravi-baby you are a slut demon."

Lucifer chuckled.

"No, no, no, not a slut demon...Ravia is a Succubus....."
