"What the fuck!"

Sergei glared at Lucifer, Sebastien and Beel as if they had lost their fucking mind. Who the fuck were they to tell me to calm the fuck down? It's my woman who's hurt! Sergei thought. He look down at Ravia who was now sleeping on the bed, exhausted from the fight she had to put up. Her body was covered with deep scratches that the demon familiar had inflicted. They were taking quite a while to heal since the wounds had had poison laced in them. He had came back from a meeting with a fire demon, who was asking to participate in the upcoming fight with the rogues. Fuck! I should've been there to tear that slimy demon to shreds! He thought.

Lucifer laid a hand on his back, trying to calm Sergei. He himself was also angry at the sly attack. Bas and Beel had arrived home a couple hours earlier looking dishevelled with an unconscious Ravia in their arms, covered with some lethal scratches on her legs and arms. Sergei shrugged his hand off and turned to leave the room.

"Where are you going?" asked Sebastien who had been sitting on Ravia's dresser for a good while now. Beel was however stood at the bedroom window silent as he stared out into the garden that stood below the perusal of Ravia's room. The normally loud and boisterous demon was eerily quiet. Despite the stoic and calm appearance, the anger that burned in his eyes was no joke. After all, who wouldn't be angry?

Without sparing them either an answer or a glance, Sergei left the room with the door slamming behind him. Lucifer went and sat on the bed next to Ravia. Anyone who looked at her could see that she was a strong woman but looking at her at this very moment you could see how delicate she really was. Her face was pallid with heavy grey bags under her eyes and her right cheek covered with tiny scratches. He ran a his fingers through her hair and frowned. Ravia's beautiful crimson hair was a tangled mess. If she were to wake up at this very moment and see her horrific appearance, she would scream the mansion to the ground.

He fluffed her pillow some more and drew the sheet up around her then turned the air condition to a lower temperature so that she could get cool. Lucifer then got up and beckoned to Sebastien to watch over Ravia. He was going to call Jonah and let him be aware of the situation, perhaps to return home as well. He was going to need as much as help as possible. Not that he really needed it but as the King of Hell, Lucifer did not believe in doing all the work when it came on to war despite being capable of doing so alone. He had the powers to destroy an entire army after all. Maybe he'll make an exception this time around since his daughter was involved. No one messes with his family and gets away with it. He peered at his watch and saw that it was almost seven o' clock. He  looked up and stared through the window and saw that the place was already getting dark then teleported to his office. It was going to be a long night and he needed to start planning his next move. Since the rogues wanted a war, they were bloody well going to get one.

                      -------------------

It was almost midnight when Sergei reached home. Home. Sergei thought amusingly. Lately, he had referred to this place as his home since he stayed here more frequently than he did his own condominium. Where ever Ravia is, that's my home. That was what Sergei had told Sebastien and Beel a week ago, when they had asked him, if he wasn't planning on going home after they had saw him leaving Ravia's room. It was his home indeed.

He slowly climbed the stairs into the hallway that lead to Ravia's room. When he was finally at the door, he took off his jacket and opened the door. As he entered the room he was surprised to see Ravia up and awake. She sat cross legged in the middle of the bed eating a tub of ice cream. The television was turned on there was an episode of Tokyo Ghoul, a Japanese animation playing, however it was muted and the lyrics of Christina Perri's Human wafted through the room as it played.

I'm only human. I bleed when I fall down. I'm only human. I crash when I break down. Your words in my head. Knives in my heart. You pick me up when I fall a part. I'm only human.

Sergei closed the door and leaned against it. You pick me up when I fall a part. Those words resounded in his repeatedly as if in a loop. He kicked off his boots, walked over to the bed, climbed on and drew her into his arms as he peppered kisses all over her face.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there with you," said Sergei.

Ravia turned her head and looked up at him, smiling. Her lips slightly covered with chocolate. "It's okay. You're here with me now," she said. "That's all that matters."

Sergei gave her a small smile and kissed her on her temple. "Those demon's are going to pay for those injuries."

"It was only one demon Serg and I killed him," replied Ravia.

Sergei scoffed. "There are many more to come."

"I know that," Ravia replied. "You know," she started as she played with invisible lint on his shirt, "we should kinda thank that demon familiar thing, whatever it was cause if it weren't for him attacking me, I wouldn't have learnt how to use my key power."

Sergei turned her, so she was completely facing him. "I don't give a fuck," he said softly. "He harmed you and any one who does that his dead in my book."

" But I'm okay," replied Ravia.

Sergei sighed and laid flat on the bed, pulling her against him into a spoon. "Moya dushka I know that you feel kinda powerful somewhat being succubus and that you have some amazing powers buy you need to remember that you're also human."

Ravia turned to face him and kissed him slowly with immense passion. "That's why you are their to pick me up when I fall down or fall a part."

Sergei did not say anything after that because he knew that what she had said was the truth. He would always be their for come hell or high water and that was definite. They were in agreement at that. They were at an impasse. A vow that he will keep.
