"In the old movies, yes, there always was the happy ending and order was restored. As it is in Shakespeare’s plays. It’s no disgrace to, in the end, restore order. And punish the wicked and, in some way, reward the righteous."

"So all this fight, was just for show?" Ravia asked.

Lucifer laughed.

"Pretty much so," he replied.

Samael grinned sheepishly. "Yeah, this is Abbadon's way of getting our attention, well, that is father's attention."

Ravia frowned as she tapped her feet in tandem against the carpeted floor. They had teleported back to the library in the mansion. Everything seemed so sudden it was almost as if no fight at occurred at all, and that today, was just another regular not so uneventful day. Ravia looked back to couple months ago at the random demon attacks she had experienced. She glanced at everyone.

"What about all those demon attacks?" She asked. "How do you guys explain those, huh?"

She tapped her feet as she waited for one of them to answer.

"I can answer that," said Beelzebub. "Those were secret tests to see how well you can defend yourself. After all, anything can happen to you and you need to know how to defend yourself. Isn't that so, Sergei?"

Sergei gave a stiff nod.

"That's right sissy poo," joined Sebastien teasingly. "We are very busy demons you know. We won't always be around to defend you."

His twin smirked.

"We have places to go, things and demons to do...-"

"I think she gets what you're trying to say Sebby," said Abaddon, scowling.

Ravia rolled her eyes. She took off her jacket and threw it on the table that stood before her, then sat on the couch with her legs crossed at the ankle. She looked around the room at everyone and sighed. Everything just seemed like it was all a rollercoaster ride. A very bumpy one at that.

She then asked, "What about the fight between Dad and Abaddon?"

Samael laughed. "That's normal," he replied. "This fight happens every year."

"And every year Lucifer beats him," joined Sergei scoffed. "And to think I was the one who taught that brat how to fight. What a disappointment!"

"Oh come on," mumbled Abaddon, joining in on the conversation. He had been sitting, listening to everyone talk while not saying anything. He walked up to Sergei.

"At least I lasted longer in the fight this time around," he said. "I even surprised Father with that angel slayer sword."

Laughter burst forth from Lucifer throughout the room as he poured himself a glass of whiskey and took a drink. He then sat down in his armchair and gave Abaddon a leveled look.

"That is where you went wrong my beloved son," he said with a smirk. "That sword could neither hurt me or another angel and Michael knows this himself."
