The luminosity of a moon sparkled peacefully in the sky, drifting in space bringing light to all around it. And then, in a matter of mere seconds, the shroud of the dark side fell upon its light. A Star Destroyer ship of mass size made its way through space, gliding with intimidation and a threat of certain pain. The sheer size of this ship shadowed the light of the moon, darkening all nearby planets and moons which relied on its source of light. Closely following behind this ship however, was one much smaller, however much more intimidating. This was the Mothership. It was round in shape, similar to that of an egg, and was coloured in a greyish black shade, with the slight glow of red emanating from it. Supreme Leader Snoke, the head and controller of the First Order, resided in the Mothership. He liked to distance himself from the day-to-day runnings of the First Order, however keeping himself close enough to keep an eye on things. Inside the Mothership, someone else accompanied the Supreme Leader.

Enduring intense and strenuous training was Snoke's Apprentice, the leader of the Knights of Ren, Kylo Ren. His training was very similar to that of the Jedi, however much more vicious and ruthless. The strain, pain and fatigue of Kylo Ren was shielded by the mask that he wore on his head. The mask was pivotal to his rise. Wearing the mask, he was able to contain his inner emotion, he was able to cover up his wounds of battle, and he was able to protect himself from any source of compassion. Lurking in the shadows, watching him closely, was the Supreme Leader himself. He preferred it in the shadows. Throughout the time of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, and now the New Republic, he hid in the shadows, watching. Concealing himself from the rest of the galaxy gave him solace, and a time of rest. But now, the time was becoming so close. The time in which the Supreme Leader would leave the shadows, and take full reign of the galaxy, and inflict pain and suffering from all who opposed him.

"The Dark Side of the Force resides strongly in you Kylo Ren. You must destroy your inner emotion, destroy your regret, compassion and love. Your power and ability to channel the dark side within you will make you even more powerful than your grandfather Darth Vader. In his prime he would be proud to see you standing where you are today." Snarled Snoke. Kylo continued his intense training. Snoke motioned for him to heed, and Kylo kneeled down in front of his Master.
"The time of waiting is nearly over. The Dark Side will soon become the soul entity in this galaxy. The Dark Side will have a presence never before seen. Use your hatred, your anger and your pain, and with that, your power will multiply to unseen levels. Together, I the Supreme Leader, and you Kylo Ren, will hunt down Luke Skywalker, and ensure his fate becomes a nightmare. We will kill Luke Skywalker, and remove any twinkle of Light that shines in this galaxy. The Jedi will be no more!" Snoke roared with an empathetic, and somewhat patriotic snarl.

Aboard the Star Destroyer stood General Hux and Captain Phasma, engaged in conversation.
"The Supreme Leader sees my potential. He knows I can be more of an influence than Kylo Ren. Before long I will be the leader of the First Order, and I will be the leader of the Republic. Mark my words Captain, the campaign which the First Order is spreading is gaining steady feet. Our support is rising and I assure you, before long the First Order will be the sole political power in this Galaxy. Whether it is by legal means or by force, we will be victorious!" Said General Hux with malice.
"General, the troops are ready for anything they are required to do. If it is to stand by our side as a show of power, or if it is to march the Senate to take control, this army will be able to do any of it." Replied Phasma, showing confidence and intimidation, in her Chrome attire.

Still following behind was the Mothership. In a small room, Kylo Ren was sat alone. In front of him, sitting on a pedestal, was the mask of Darth Vader.
"I need guidance grandfather. I'm only just managing to conceal my inner turmoil from the Supreme Leader. I need to allow the Dark Side to overwhelm myself. My true inner body needs to convert itself fully to the Dark. My head sits in dusk, with light peering over the skyline. I need the Dark Side. I need your help." His voice was croaky, despite his voice altering mask. His words were spoken in a desperate plea. Lifting up his hand he used the force on the mask, amalgamating all of his power. An eerie sound of wind then filled the room, until a sudden, loud whooshing sound filled the air. A dark fume was emanating from the mask, until Kylo was sitting in the presence of a ghost. Kylo shot up onto his feet, somewhat afraid, however he was excited. The ghost was a cloaked figure, with the black hood concealing his face. Breathing heavily with anticipation, Kylo was expecting for the first time to hear the voice of Darth Vader, however the voice came from a man, not someone in a mask. The voice came as a pained whisper.
"The conflict inside of you I once felt myself...the dark...it is fraudulent...you have been seduced by the lies of the Dark...the Sith..."
"NO! No..." Kylo cried out. "Who are you?!" He demanded.
"Anakin Skywalker."
Kylo roared out in anger and ignited his lightsaber, slashing at the ghost. The lightsaber made no contact, however the ghost turned into a dark vapour. The whooshing sound filled the room once more, and another ghost appeared in front of Kylo. This time the ghost...of Darth Vader. Kylo kneeled before his idol, his grandfather.
"The Dark Side of the force is strong in you. To bring balance and justice to the force, Luke Skywalker must be destroyed." Said Vader.
Kylo breathed a sigh of relief, however it was also a sigh of determination. He would not allow Anakin or Like Skywalker to squander his power. He would not allow himself to be seduced by the light like his grandfather. He was stronger. And he would do what his grandfather could not; kill Luke Skywalker.
