Morning Sunshine

Ad's POV:
I woke up to the smell of sausage. I walked downstairs to see Hotch cooking while he sang to walking on sunshine.
"I'm walking on sunshine." He sang into the spatula he was holding. When he saw me recording on my phone he jumped.
"What the hell Addi?"
"I'm walking on sunshine." I sang and smiled. I stopped recording when he told me to sit on one of the bar stools. I did what I was told. He handed me a plate with eggs, sausage and toast along with a cup of orange juice. He sat next to me and we ate as we talked about random things.
"Thank you for letting me stay over."
"No problem. Any time. What are you gonna do today?"
"I was thinking the BAU could use and extra person to help on the case."
"Listen... Addi, we would love you to help but you are 8 months pregnant and you shouldn't be out in the field."
"No one said anything about out in the field. I was thinking staying at the police department with Garcia to help."
"I'm actually on my way to drive there now." I'll see you in a few hours, I smiled, thanked him again, kissed his cheek, got dressed , and left. I went and got my car with my go bag. Thankfully Spence had already left for work.

I walked into the station and was greeting by all the team but Spence who looked at me like wtf when I walked in. He didn't know I was coming and I didn't think he needed to know. I stayed at the station with Garcia when we heard shooting from what sounded like only a couple buildings down. We put on our vests and a bunch of cops came with us to check it out. We got to where we could see someone shot laying in the street. They were bleeding out someone needed to go help them. One of the cops ran over while we covered him. He got to him and applied pressure to the bleeding. We didn't find the person who shot him but we did get him into an ambulance and to the hospital. We got back to the station and the team was back.
"What the hell were you thinking?!" Spencer ran over to me.
"Stop." I said taking my vest off and putting it on the table.
"What stop caring?! I don't care if you're upset with me. But that gives you no right to go out and put our baby in danger."
"Stop making a scene. If you wanna talk then fine. We will talk outside." I walked out of course with him right behind me.
"What the hell Addilyn?"
"This is my job. Shots were fired. What else was I suppose to do?"
"Stay at the station."
"So what, so that man could've bled to death?"
"You're pregnant."
"And you don't even know if its your child. And I know it bothers you. You might try to hide it but I know it hurts you. I know I've hurt you so why do you keep coming back?"
"Because I love you! Why else would I move in? Or propose? Or spend every moment I can with you? Or tell you as much as I can that I love you? And I've told you before and I'll tell you again. I don't care if this baby is biologically mine. I want to raise this baby with you."
"I'm sorry." I'm crying at this point.
"It's okay. I love you." I hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"I love you too."
We went back in to help the team finish the case.
