I Don't Wanna Wait.

Ad's POV:
We layed in bed, intertwining our fingers together and occasionally kissing.
"I don't wanna wait."
"Wait for what?"
"To get married."
"I want to marry you. I don't see the point in waiting."
"With everything that has happened lately..."
"That's my point Spence. I've realized two things in the past week. One is that life's short and you never know when something might happen. We should cherish what we have now and not hold back from anything. We shouldn't waste any more time."
"And the other thing?"
"That I love you with all my heart, and if anything ever happens to you I don't know what I'll do."
"Nothing will happen to me. And even if something did you would have to stay strong for Peyton. Also I would like to ask that you would move on."
"I could never-"
"Ad... If something where to happen to me you would have to move on, for Peyton's sake."
"And if something were to happen to me, I would want you to do the same. Pinky promise?" I asked holding up my pinky.
"Pinky promise." He stated, locking our pinkies together and kissing my hand as I kissed his.

*eight weeks later*

I've been back at work for a couple weeks now and its been interesting. I have to stay back with Penelope when the team has to go far away, to take care of Peyton. I mean Spence has offered to stay back but come on the team needs him with them. But I'm very excited for this weekend because my brother is coming home and will finally get to see meet Spence and Peyton. I know it sounds weird right? I'm engaged to a man that my brother hasn't even met yet. Well my brother Dylan is a marine. Also the other very important people to me are back in North Carolina and we just haven't gotten around to meeting up. That includes my Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Caleb, Uncle Nick and my Aunt Kelly. I know they are busy and I totally get it. My thoughts were interrupted by Spence.
"Are you ready to go home?" He smiled.
"Yes!" I shut my computer off and grabbed my stuff. We then walked hand in hand to the car and drove home. I began to cook dinner, my brothers favorite, chili.
"What ya cooking good looking?" Spence asked wrapping his arms around me from behind.
"Chili" I giggled.
"Do you know what I love more than chili?"
"What?"
"You." He began to kiss my neck.
"S-spence..." He hummed in response sending vibrations across my skin which caused my breathing to hitch.
"Dr. Reid." I said pulling away.
"You know my brother's coming over tonight. This is not the time."
"But..."
"No buts." I tried to keep a straight face as he began to pout. That's when I turned my back to check the time and Spence came over and began to kiss me. This time I didn't fight it, I leaned against the counter and a few minutes later the doorbell rang. We pulled apart and smiled.
"We'll finish this later." He smirked.
"In your dreams." I teased as I went to answer the door. I opened it to find Dylan, all of my uncles and my aunt Kelly.
"Oh my gosh! What are you guys doing here?"
"I hope you don't mind that I brought the Family. But I figured it was time for all of us go meet this fiancé of yours." That's when I felt his hand on my back.
"And I assume this is him." He says gesturing to Spence.
"Everybody this is Spencer."
He shook Dylan's hand followed by my uncles then he hugged my aunt. But can we just. He. Shook. Their. Hands. Everyone then hugged me and the last person to hug me was my aunt Kelly.
"Hi sweetheart."
"Hi Aunt Kell."
"I've missed you and we can talk about all of that later but first, where is she?" I knew who she was referring to.
"I'll go get her." I smiled. I ran upstairs to find Peyton actually awake and smiling. I picked her up and took her downstairs.
"Aw... She's beautiful." Everyone said in unison.
"Just like her mom." Spencer added as I blushed.
"Can I hold her?" My aunt asked.
"Of course." I stated as I handed Peyton to her.
Then all of us settled into the kitchen. As I began to deal out the chili into bowls. We ate and just talked as each of them got to hold Peyton. After giving them the tour of the house and putting Peyton back to bed we settled into the living room.
"So this wedding?"

Spencer's POV:
"Actually thank you for mentioning that, can I show the guys something Ad?"
"Sure..." She said confused as her uncles and brother followed me downstairs.
"What would you like to show us?" Her brother asked once we were downstairs.
"Actually I'd like to ask you all something"
"Go ahead."
"I'd like to ask for all of your permission to marry Addilyn?"
"Aren't you already engaged?"
"Yes. But I've realized that I should've asked you first."
"I appreciate that you are asking. So my answer is yes."
Jim stated.
"Yes." Caleb stated.
"Yeah." Nick stated.
"Do you promise to take care of my sister? I know I might not always be around, so I need to know that you'll be there."
"As long as I'm breathing I take care of her."
"Okay then yes."
"Okay then how about this weekend?"
"This weekend?"
"Yeah. I mean everyone's here. Addilyn was just telling me this morning how she didn't want to wait much longer. Why not?"
After discussing it we walked back upstairs and later on in the night Ad and I settled everyone into their rooms.
