New Priorities

Ad's POV:
I was woken up by Peyton which I didn't mind. I sat up in bed when Spence sat up.
"Babe go back to bed I got her." He said as he lightly pushed me back down.
"No... I got her."
"Addilyn. I got it." He smiled and pecked my lips. He got up and went to Peyton's nursery as I drifted back to sleep. When I woke up in the early morning. I realized that Spencer never came back to bed. I hurried to the nursery to find him asleep in the recliner with Peyton asleep in his arms. I quickly took a picture. And put my phone down. I carefully took Peyton from his arms and put her in the crib. I lightly shook Spence.
"Spence... Honey come back to bed."
"Five more minutes." He groaned.
"Come on baby. Your back will bother you if you don't."
"Fine..." He slowly got up. Then we walked back to out room and layed back in bed.

*after a week*

The last week has been amazing. But now Spence has to go back to work with the team. So I'm left with Peyton and it will be interesting.
"I'm sorry I have to go." He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close.
"It's okay. The team needs you, I get it."
"Just call if you need anything. Penelope could be here in 5 minutes if something happens."
"We'll be fine." I kissed him.
"I don't wanna go..." He whined.
"Spence you gotta go."
"But..."
"No buts Dr. Reid." I tried to stay serious.
"But agent Pierce..."
"Soon to be Reid." I corrected as he smiled. He kissed me, kissed Peyton, grabbed his bag and left. Everything was going pretty smooth the first day. But the next day sometime in the late afternoon Peyton started to cry and wouldn't stop. I tried everything. I called Penelope and she came right over. We couldn't figure it out. I called Reid on the verge of tears.
"Hey babe." He answered.
"Spence..."
"Whats wrong?"
"Peyton won't stop crying."
"Have you fed her?"
"Yes. We've done everything. She won't stop, and I can't find her blanket" I knew he could hear her in the background. I thought for a moment.
"Check next to the recliner. I might have fallen there when I had her." I did what I was told and found the pink and white blanket that Reid's mom made for her. I layed her in her crib and put the blanket over her. She stopped crying and went to sleep. I sighed a sigh of relief.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm better now. Thank you."
"I just wish I could be there. "
"I know but the team needs you. You'll be home before ya know it. Well I'll let ya get back to it, I love you."
"I love you too."
Penelope went back to the office after I thanked her and I laid down to take a nap. The next couple days went pretty smooth considering being a new mom and all. Three days of mommy and Peyton time. It was amazing but I also can't wait to see Spence. I miss him so much. I was getting dressed after taking a shower, while Penelope rocked Peyton downstairs. I heard the door open and I ran downstairs. I jumped into Spence's arms, as he spun me around.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too."
"Aw..." I heard from behind me. Spence sent me down as he walked over to Penelope and took Peyton from her. He smiled as he looked down at her sleeping. Penelope left and Spence put Peyton i n her crib.
"And how was my girl while I was away?" He said as he closed the door.
"Peyton was good."
"What about my other girl?"
"Well she missed you, that's for sure."
"I missed her too." He kissed me, picked me up bridal style and we went to cuddle.
