Ad's POV:
"It's a... girl!" Hotch wrapped up my baby girl in a blanket then the FBI jacket because it's freezing outside. He then handed her to me. She is beautiful. Her hazel eyes looked up into mine.
"Good job mama." Derek said smiling.
"She's perfect." Spence said wiping away the tears.
That's when the paramedics arrived. They put me on a stretcher and put me in the ambulance while Spencer carried our baby girl and got in with us. While Hotch and Derek rode behind us. When we got to the hospital they took her away for tests and me took get checked out to. After making sure everything was okay with the both of us they brought her back in. I held her as Spence looked at us and smiled. That's when the team arrived.
"Aww..." They all said.
"Who wants to hold her? Even though I know the answer to that." I asked.
"Me." Penelope stepped forward. I smiled as Spence took her from me and handed her to Penelope.
"She's so precious you guys."
"So have you guys picked out a name?"
"We decided on..." I said looking at Spence to complete the sentence.
"Peyton." He smiled.
"And who are the godparents?"
"Well this is really different but..." Spence looked at me.
"We'd like to ask Hotch and Rossi to be the godparents?"
"We'd love too." They said in unison.
"Can I hold my goddaughter?" Rossi asked as Penelope handed Peyton him.
"We get to spoil her right?"
"I think she'll be very spoiled." Em said. We all laughed as Rossi passed Peyton to Hotch.
"What happened anyway?" Em asked.
"This guy kidnapped me because he felt that his brother was falsely accused of murder."
"How'd you guys know?" She asked looking at the guys.
"We discussed if either one of us were every kidnapped to leave something behind. And that something is our badge if we can." Spence responded and Em nodded.
"So when can you go home?"
"In a couple of days"
"Then we'll stick around." Hotch said.
"You guys don't have t-" I was cut off.
"I don't want you guys to have to endure the car ride. We are staying." Hotch said smiling down at Peyton.
"Wait I'm still confused. Who delivered Peyton?" JJ asked.
"Hotch." Spence stated.
"But doctor Reid?" Em said in a sophisticated way which made everyone laugh and Spence blush.
"Hey I volunteered but this one wasn't going to have it that way." He said nudging me. I smiled.
"What about Morgan?" Someone asked.
"There's no way in hell." I said quoting Spence.
"Hey I volunteered but this one wasn't going to have it that way." Derek said quoting Spence as well. We all laughed.
"I just know that this little girl is so loved." I said breaking the silence after a little bit.
"More than she'll ever know." Spence stated.
"Oh she'll know it." Em said.
"Any person that ever hurts her will be in for a rude awakening." Rossi stated.
"And any boy who breaks her heart will have to deal with the BAU." JJ stated.
"I will ruin them." Garcia stated.
"I will make sure to warn them ahead of time." I said.
"They won't be able to run away from me." She stated. We laughed. Hotch then handed Peyton to Em.
After hours of us just sitting there watching Peyton the team decided to go back to their hotel and get some sleep. While Peyton was sleeping Spence and I just talked while watching her.
"I'm so happy you two are okay." He said as we layed next to each other while intertwining our fingers together.
"We wouldn't be if it wasn't for you."
"You were the one that kept that lunatic distracted and occupied while we had time to find you. I'm sorry you had to go through that."
"It's not your fault."
"It got me thinking that we should get married."
"We will get married."
"I'm saying that we shouldn't wait much longer. Life's short. We should just do it."
"When we get back we will." I smiled as we kissed. He pulled the engagement ring out of his pocket and put it back on my finger.
After talking about Peyton, about the most random things, we fell asleep.
