Doctors Appointment

Spence's POV:
I was woke up by harsh light in my eyes. I looked over to see Ad with her arms wrapped around me, she looked beautiful. She always does. I'm happy that we talked last night and that we are handling things like adults now. I layed there and watched Ad sleep. She seemed so peaceful. After about ten minutes her eyes fluttered open. She looked at me and smiled, "Good morning..." She said still waking up.
"Good morning. How'd you sleep?"
"Okay, how about you?"
"Great"
She smiled at me then suddenly looked pale. She hopped quickly to the bathroom with me not far behind. I held her hair back as she got sick. After she was done I asked "are you okay?"
"Yeah... It could be worse."
"What would you like for breakfast?"
"Pancakes!" She said letting out her inner child.
"Pancakes it is." I laughed, picked her up, took her to the kitchen and set her down on the counter. She sat there and watched me cook. I handed her, her pancakes and she lit up like the fourth of July. We ate, got dressed and headed to the BAU. When we got there I gave Ad a piggyback ride all the way to our floor. Only setting her down on the elevator. We went to our desks laughing. When the team saw us they did the same.
Hotch came up to Ad and reminded her "she wasn't permitted in the field." And of course Ad came back with
"But dad all the other kids get to do it... And come on Hotch I think if some suicide bomber was in some building. I would make it out in record time."
"What with him giving you a piggyback ride?" He said motioning to me and laughing. We all did. I love how goofy she is. We got briefed and we were off to Indiana. While Ad had to stay back with Garcia.

*after the case*

We got back to the BAU and all I wanted to do was go to bed, wrapping my arms around the girl I love. I have missed her so much in the past few days. I walked in and when I didn't see her at her desk I went to Garcia.
"Hey Garcia! Where's Ad?"
"She went home. She's really tired and hasn't been feeling well."
"You let her drive?!"
"Reid calm down."
"You let my pregnant girlfriend drive home while she's sick and isn't suppose to put any weight on her leg?"
"I drove her home. Wait. Girlfriend?..." She smirked.
I thanked her and drove straight there. When I got there I could hear her getting sick in the bathroom so I rushed in there, held her hair back and rubbed her back trying to make it better.
"Ad...?"
"Yeah?" She said getting up and leaning against the wall.
"You need to go to the doctors."
"I'm fine."
"Ad you aren't getting any nutrients. It's not healthy for you or the baby."
"It's just morning sickness."
"Addilyn. You need to go."
"Okay..." She said looking down.

Ad's POV:
He called me Addilyn... He never calls me that. I guess it's like when I call him Reid or when a parent calls their child by their full name, they know they mean business. I called and made an appointment. I also texted Derek and when I looked up Spence just nodded knowing what I just did. Thankfully the team didn't have a new case and wouldn't have one for a day. So we were all open to go tomorrow.

*the next day at the doctors*

Spence sat to my right holding my hand and Derek sat to my left. Both were tapping their feet. Which just made me more nervous but I did not say anything.
"Addilyn Pierce?" A nurse said. As we followed her to a room. She asked me to sit down and wait for the doctor. I did as I was told. After a couple more minutes of silence Dr. Daniel Brody came in. Hey shook everyone's hands and started asking me questions starting with why I was on crutches.
"To sum it up we are in the FBI and this guy cut me pretty bad." I responded.
"He cut you wrist to?"
"Yes sir."
"So Addilyn how have you been feeling lately?" He asked sitting in his swirly chair.
"I've been better but its not so bad..."
"Doc she can't keep anything down." Spence spoke up.
"Is this true Addilyn?" The doctor asked concerned and I nodded in response.
"Well I can prescribe a medication that will help with the morning sickness. Now let's take a look at your baby." He smiled and asked me to lay on my back. I did and pulled my shirt up so my stomach was showing. He began the ultrasound while Spence intertwined our fingers and Derek put his hand on top of mine. We hound the heartbeat and could see the baby. I began to tear up a little bit. So did Spence and Derek. "It looks like you're between four and five weeks along. The baby looks fine but I am worried about your morning sickness so I'll go get you the prescription and the picture of the baby."
We thanked him, I wiped the gel off my stomach, pulled my shirt down and sat up.
After getting everything I needed and we left. Derek went home as did we.
