Aaron and liz spent the next few days avoiding each other, Careful to shift their eyes when the risk to meet the others gaze came about. Now the team was gathered in the conference room going over a case they'd just been assigned. Suddenly Liz's phone went off; she pulled it from her pocket and checked the number, it was the doctors office. Nervousness overcame her as she stood up. The team wasn't stupid, the chills on her body gave away that whoever that call was from had scared her.
"Excuse me, I'll be right back." She announced before leaving.
Once safely in the hallway she answered the phone. "Hello?"
"Hi, Ms. Ryan?" A voice replied.
"This is she."
"We have your test results."
Liz took a deep breath.
"Ms. Ryan you are indeed pregnant. Congratulations." The voice was enthusiastic.
Liz let out the breathe she didn't know she was holding. "Oh, okay, that's great, thank you so much." Liz said almost as excited as the woman pretended to be.
""You can call to schedule your first appointment at any time."
"Okay, thank you."
Liz hung up and leaned against the wall. It was the moment of truth, she had to tell Aaron.
She sighed and slowly walked back toward the conference room. She poked  her head in and gave a small smile.
"You're smiling but you look sick to your stomach, everything alright?" Rossi asked.
"Fine. Hotch can I see you for a minute in your office."
"Uh-sure." He got up and followed her to his office.
The team sat confused in the conference room but quickly went back to work.
Aaron closed the door behind them. "Liz listen I'm --"
"Aaron don't apologize it's fine." She cut him off.
"But--"
"Aaron, that was the doctors office."
He could read it on her face what she was about to say.
"They confirmed it." She didn't want to but she smiled as she said it. She couldn't even be mad at him anymore.
A smile spread across his face too. She threw her arms around him and he wrapped his around her waist and picked her up into a tight hug.
"This mean you're not mad at me anymore?" He asked.
She pulled away and he set her down, but she still stood on her tip toes. "Shut up." She whispered before she kissed him.
He deepened it an it became more passionate. Then they both pulled away.
"We have to tell the team!" He said excitedly.
Liz sighed. "Can we wait?"
He didn't argue. "If you want."
She rested her head on his chest. "I'm going to be a mother." Reality seemed to hit her a bit.
"You'll do great. The way you are with Jack, you're already a pro."
She giggled. "I guess."
"We should get back in there before they come looking for us."
"Yeah," she pulled away and he took her hand. "Aaron I'm really sorry for everything."
He stopped to look at her. "Me too."
"I love you."
"I love you too Elizabeth."
They walked back to the conference room hand in and hand. The team eyed the both of them as they made their way to their seats. They knew something was totally up.
Hotch looked over the file in front of him, they were going to Wilmington, North Carolina where bodies of vacationers were showing up under the pier every other morning. "Wheels up in twenty." He announced before leaving the room again.
Liz followed him out and to his office and closed the door behind her. She simply sat on his couch and rested her head against the wall.
"You okay?" He asked sitting next to her and resting his hand on her knee.
"Just a headache." She rubbed her temples with her fingers and groaned. Aaron got up and went to his desk the opened the drawer searching for ibuprofen. He found it and twisted the cap off, then walked back over to her with the pill and a bottle of water.
"Here." He handed the contents to her.
She took them from him. "Thanks." She smiled.
"Is your go bag ready?"
"Yeah, it's under my desk, I'll grab it in the way out."
He glanced at his watch. "That would be about now."
She groaned and reluctantly stood up with his help of pulling at her arms. He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead. "Maybe I can talk our way into letting the team stay a few extra days to enjoy the beach." He mumbled against her forehead.
"That'd be so nice." She said pulling away.
They made their way to the jet hand in hand and discovered the team already there. They took their seats across from Simon and Rossi who eyed them both suspiciously.
After the jet took off Hotch decided to start going over the case. "Let's go over victimology."
"Gender isn't a factor, the victims were both male and female." JJ said.
"Tourists." Added Morgan.
"Do we know if they are traveling alone?" Hotch asked.
"They don't, they are all college kids traveling together." Garcia pipes in over the camera.
"So this guys targeting young kids from out of town." Morgan clarified. "What about parties, thats probably the hunting ground, all the friends said they were at parties the night before."
Hotch closed the file in his hand. "Alright Morgan and Reid go to the pier and talk to the witnesses and police. Simon, Rossi and JJ go talk to the families. Liz and I will go to the police station."
Rossi raised his eyebrows at Hotch.
"What?" Hotch asked.
"Nothing."
The team all went back to their seats and returned to their separate worlds. Simon and Rossi still eyed the two love bird suspiciously while Liz had her head rested on Aaron's shoulder and both were trying to suppress a smile.
"You two have something to tell us?" Simon finally asked.
"No." Liz shook her head smirking.
"Liar." He retorted.
"We're going to be parents." Aaron told him.
"Aaron!" She hit him playfully.
Simon and Rossi's eyes both widened in surprise.
"Oh c'mon you wouldn't have been able to hide it very long anyway." Aaron looked at her.
"I hate you." She teased.
He scoffed and turned a playful serious. "You love me."
"You thought." She said rolling her eyes.
"Congratulations!" Rossi interrupted the banter.
"I knew something was up when you said you were running errands the other day. You went to the doctors didn't you?" Simon asked.
"Yeah." She admitted.
Simon smiled at them both. "Well, congratulations."
Aaron smiled. "Thank you."
They'd be landing soon and Hotch was now in the back of the plane on the phone but the team was unaware of with whom.
He came out a few minute later with a slight grin on his face.
"What's that face?" Liz asked.
Rossi turned to liz and smirked, "you got some competition kid."
She rolled her eyes and looked back at Aaron who still had a stupid looking grin on his face.
"Seriously Aaron spill it." Liz demanded.
"Director says when the case is over we can take a few extra days on the beach."
Grins spread across every face but quickly faded realizing they still had a case.
Aaron sat back down next to Liz and they both fell asleep for the rest of the flight.

This case seemed to pass by slower than usual. But they caught the guys. A group of rascal, unruly college kids from the area.
Now the team had another week to themselves. They decided to rent a house right on the beach and were enjoying the weather.
Aaron had just hung up the phone with Jack and Jessica asking them to come down for a couple days too. He had plans.
He was standing in the kitchen staring out the window watching his team on the beach, laughing and having a good time. Particularly Liz. She was amazing. She was so string and smart and good at her work and with Jack. And she's be great with this baby too. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her.
His thoughts were interrupted by footsteps from behind him. He turned to find Rossi in the doorway.
"You've been staring out that window for a while." Rossi noted.
Aaron chuckled. "How long have you been standing there?"
"Only a minute but I've walked by at least three times."
Silence fell between the men.
"What are you thinking about?" Rossi asked him.
Aaron turned back to the window and smiled. "I think I'm going to ask Liz to marry me."
