Zoe's pov
I haven't heard from Alfie since the day I left Brighton. I hope that he's thinking about the situation and realise that it's a lifetime regret to say those words: "what do you think about cancelling the wedding next
year" .If he didn't say them ,then I shouldn't have been here in Wiltshire for almost a month. I just wish that we can get a small talk and go over the things we think that are too immature.

Joe's pov
Seeing my sister like this tears me apart and I would do anything to see that smile again.

J:hey Zoe !!
Z: yeah
J:come down here for a bit
Z:what's up
J:I was just going to ask if you still have that engagement ring on your finger?
Z: no . I left it in Brighton for Alfie to decide if he wants his life with me or someone else
J:that's deep
Z: yeah but it has to happen

After a short conversation , I went up to Zach's room and checked if he was awake. He was. I brought him down to the lounge and put him in his crib to let him sleep for a bit. Zoe was in the kitchen. She was on the phone with ......... Poppy,Alfie's sister. She called Zoe to let her know that Alfie has been drinking and that he tries to kill himself.

Zoe's pov
"Where are you going ?" Joe calls out from the house ,trying to catch up. "To Brighton. Making things right." I breathed. "Just take care of Zach and I'll be back in a few days." "If Alfie tries to hurt you ,call me ." he assures me. "Yes,jojeebo."
A minute later I'm already gone. I called poppy to see if Alfie's there. No answer. Shit. What if he never wants to get married ? I don't want Zach to grow up without a father. Hours later I am in front of our house. The unlocked the door. As I come in , I see a wrecked,puffy eyed,filthy Alfie, laying his head on Poppy's lap. When Poppy saw me, she ran and hugged me. As for Alfie, he remained sleeping on the sofa with Nala. I woke him up and kissed him because I don't want to start over. "I missed you little one." "I missed you too." I turned around to see a weeping Poppy behind us. I pull her in for a hug. Everything is back to normal.

It has been days since I left Wiltshire. I called Joe to check on Zach. I told him to come here by Friday and bring Zach with him. You're probably wondering if we are going to continue the wedding. Well, it is and were still figuring out if Zach is ever going to grow up with me or Alfie because we both agreed on the situation of who is going to keep him or lose him. I told Alfie that we shouldn't have agreed on that because it would be confusing for Zach when he grows up .
Im glad that we finally got things straight for once and it also helped us out.

Zalfie wedding coming soon !!! So excited and finally have more scenarios or ideas for after the wedding and Zach's childhood.
