Chapter 6: In The Warehouse

Dren came out of the shower calling for Zoey but there was no answer. Walking into the bedroom he checked around for clues and began to worry. Suddenly he came across a small building nail and gasped taking a step back "oh no" Dren ran towards the door. It was open and unlocked, he went outside and searched the garden. He felt a strong presence and growled baring his teeth "Sardon!" He said angrily he knew he would have something to do with this. Dren flew off in search of Sardon and Tarbs hideout he needed to find Zoey and her and his unborn child before something terrible happened or before Sardon killed them both.

Meanwhile Zoey awoke to silence. She got up and realised she was tied up against a wall "huh what?" She pulled trying to cut free. "Oh come on Zoey you actually thought we'd let you escape" Sardon came out of nowhere smirking. Zoey backed up "what do you want with me?" She asked slightly scared, Sardon's smirk grew wider "you know exactly what I want... revenge" his smirk disappeared and he started yelling "you took everything from us, you Mew Mew's, our home planet, our freedom and made us look bad and most importantly Dren! You took him away from us making him turn his back—" before Sardon could finish Zoey interrupted. " I never took him away from you! He chose to leave cause he loves me," a laugh broke out of Sardon "loves you? Pfft please who could ever love you and he probably didn't tell you but he's pretending to love you and this unborn child cause he doesn't want it!." Zoey came as far as the cord holding her back would stretch "your lying!" She cried "he does love me and if you were as brave and strong as you pretend to be you'd admit that!—" Sardon cut in "what!?." Zoey began finishing her sentence almost close to him now unexpeting the words to shoot out of her "you'd admit that you were in love with Dren and that's what this is really about!." He angrily grabbed her throat and pinned her to the wall even more angry as she had been at him "if you ever!... say that again!... I will make your death quick and kill that child inside you." Shock and concern for her unborn child hit Zoey's face as Sardon released her and let her throat go "you wouldn't?!" She threatened and asked at the same time. Sardon smirked "oh I would! I have no concern or any care for you or that child your both worthless to me" Zoey glared at him angrily. "Then why?!" She snapped back at him angrily "why capture me and bring me here?!," Sardon turned around half a smirk across his face "because your the perfect bait for Dren... And for my revenge on him for betraying us."

Dren was still searching for Zoey, the police were investigating and it was getting late. Dren searched high and low, he was worried now "damn it Dren! why did you leave her alone? You said you'd protect her and now she's been kidnapped by Sardon, nice going" Dren punched a wall angrily, Zoey was gone and was going to be killed and it was all his fault. Suddenly Dren saw a strange Cineclone sneaking around she had long light blue hair and wore a ragged black dress and she had deep red eyes. Dren heard gunshots and raced towards the sounds. He saw two policemen dead and the Cineclone disappeared into the air. Dren was suspicious and followed her, being teleported to a new area.

"Sardon!" The Cineclone girl came up behind him. Sardon smiled "ahh good your back" he said walking over to her, Zoey watched curiously "yes I took out as many as I could but I had to get out of there Dren was in the perimeter." Sardon sighed angrily "oh well no matter he's no threat we will kill him, you are dismissed Clara." Clara turned and flew up to a pillar and lay there relaxing "and as for you my dear you will die very soon" Sardon chuckled but what he didn't know was that Dren was behind a large hall of metal watching. "So" he said to himself "they're planning to kill Zoey if I don't come, well damn it Sardon!" Dren turned to walk away "I'll be back my Kitty Cat" he said softly "I'm going to need reinforcements for this." He flew into the air and teleported back to the house.

Meanwhile Clara was looking at Zoey and Zoey glared at her "your never gonna get away with this" she snapped "Dren is gonna come for me and beat your sorry little tails!." Clara grinned and cupped Zoey's face with one hand as Dren had one time when it was the second time she had seen him as she was only on her first mission to find all 4 Mew Mew's. "awww that's sweet but I don't think so honey, you see me and Sardon have a little surprise for him and when he gets here there will be no leaving" Clara laughed and Zoey angrily shook her head away letting her land drop from her face. "you won't get away with this" Zoey was closer to her face now. Clara chuckled slightly "oh please shut your trap and do as your told!" She walked away there was no way she was going to waste a second more with this immature cat. Meanwhile Sardon was looking at the weapons on the wall "hmmm what should I start with" he ran his land across the wall. Suddenly Zoey started to cry out in pain and collapsed onto the floor "aaaah no ugh aaaah." Sardon turned around after choosing a gun as his weapon of choice and walked towards Zoey. "Well how about I kill you first Zoey instead of Dren since you seem to be so keen" he smirked. "Ugh no, no I have to get outta here..." she struggled and gritted her teeth "I need to get the hospital" Sardon grinned "awww why?." Zoey struggled on the ground in pain screaming a little and Sardon bent down towards her pointing the gun in front of her face. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right now!?" He whispered angrily "be-because... because I'm having a baby..." she struggled to say "...r-right now." Sardon got up looking at her, Clara walking up behind him "even you aren't cold blooded enough to kill her, not in this state" she smirked "besides its fun to watch her suffer like this."

All of a sudden the wall was knocked down with a blast of light "what the—" Sardon began but soon found out what it was as 5 policemen came through the broken wall and he was knocked to the ground by Dren, Dren gripping his throat looking into his face "I swear if you touch her and my baby I will murder you right here, right now!" Dren threatened but Sardon just smirked. "If you wanted a kiss from me you should have just asked" he was gagging as Dren held tighter and glared at him. Sardon passed out from being chocked almost to death and Clara gasped. Zoey screamed loudly in pain, Dren heard it and got off Sardon, running towards her. "Zoey!" He yelled and pulled off the ropes that tied her up "we need to get you to a hospital!" He panicked, worried about her. Zoey gave a final little scream of pain "no Dren... no.. I-It's too late t-this b-babies coming" Zoey said quietly struggling to speak. Dren gasped and held her close to him, as close as he could. Tears were slowly flowing down Dren's face as Zoey slowly started to give birth to their unborn child now being born in an old abandoned warehouse. There was a quiet scream from Zoey and the baby was born and just started crying.
