The Creep

I woke up at 9:00 a.m. and immediately looked out the window. It wasn't exactly the perfect weather for a beach day: There were semi-grey clouds in the sky though you could still see the sun trying to break through from behind the clouds. High waves were crashing into the shore resulting with a sick feeling in my stomach. My phone rang, "Hello," I answered without checking the caller ID.

"Hey, you up?" Claire's voice came from the other side.

"Would I be talking to you if I wasn't up?" I answered the question.

"Shut it you two and tell me if you're feeling as nervous as I am?" Sasha butted in her usual matter of getting straight to the point. (It was a group call.)

"I thought I was the only one," Claire replied.

"Ya me too, did you guys look outside?" I questioned.

"Weather's not looking too great," Sasha sated.

"Ya, are you sure its safe to surf in this weather?"Claire hesitantly asked.

"Maybe we shouldn't go," Sasha suggested.

"We can't just stand them up," I stated.

"Fine, we'll meet up at the beach like planned." Sasha agreed.

"K see you there," Claire said and left the call.

"Bye," I said and too ended the call. I hopped into the shower, got out and wore a black one-piece with bright shells that made some kind of tribal designs then remembered the day before and changed into a Victoria secret pushup bikini with lacy designs on the top and a coral pink and white bottom. I put on a pair of jean shorts, crop top and a knit white cardigan paired with nude sandals. My beach bag was in the corner of my room already packed from the night before so, I grabbed it, my car keys, a pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses, and headed out the door to my car. The beach slowly came to view as I parked next to a black jeep and walked up towards two silhouettes in the distance. "Jake, Jason, is that you?" I asked. The taller silhouette turned around and.........Oh no!

"Aqua is that you? Long time no see." he said with a sick grin. A battle was forming in my head, run or stand there and pretend nothing is wrong till someone shows up. Run, run, RUN! The voice in my head was screaming. I turned around and ran. "That was a bad move" the voice in my head realised as I heard the sound of someone running after me. I ran and ran but the guy would just not give up chasing. My lungs started closing up as it became harder and harder to breathe. Haunting memories started flashing in front of my eyes and I suddenly collapsed onto the floor. "Don't worry Aqua, I'll take care of you," the silhouette caught up with an insanely sick smile.

"Dude what the f***, who are you anyways?" Jake swam in and out of my vision. Then, everything went black.
