23: Tell Mother

Harry's Pov

This girl, this yellow eyed princess will be the death of me I swear. Not just when I look at her, I always think about her even if she was not around, it felt like she was always by my side. Seeing her in Gemma's dress made me a little nostalgic about my late sister but on the other side I was a little happier that now I was sure that someone will be there for me when I need someone and that person would really care for me like Gemma did and what and how close she was to me.

That person was Katherine and I was sure of it.

I never gave a damn of who she was, about her eye color, about where she was from, it didn't matter to me never did, never will. Even if my own parents would kick me out of Volterra just because I chose Katherine, I wouldnt mind. They werent the best parents anyway, they killed my sister, their own daughter, their first child! Yeah Gemma was two years older than me.

Could it be that? Was it what is called love? Was it how it was supposed to be? How someone in love feel like? Like that person was the center of our own world, we would do anything, be anything she wants. Suddently it was not the gravity pulling to the earth, it was her.

Was I in love? Was I in love with Katherine?

Well I did stop feeding on humans for her, my throat still hurt as fuck but it was worth it for Katherine, I was ready to die for her.

You're lucky your parents can't read your thoughts or else, you'll have the same fate as Gemma.

I went to my parents' master bedroom where both were sitted on their large king sized bed looking at me very seriously, Mother motioned me to come sit next to her so I did and Father started immediately to the point and I knew exactly what or who he wanted to talk about.

Katherine.

"Son I don't know what happened to you? A week ago you would kill yellow eyes men and women just by sight, what made you bring one here?"Father asked me not too harsh but not a nice tone either and I sighed. I don't care what you think Father ,you can't control my hard.

"She's not like the others Father. I told you , she's the only living soul of Imperia, let her start over here with us, with me. "I said controlling myself and he scoffed, Mother was silent just caressing my hand in hers softly to calm me down.

"Do you forget that yellow eyes are our enemies? They have allies you know? What if the word got spread that the lost Princess of Imperia is alive, wont they come to us?"Father argued and I rolled my eyes. Seriously since when was he so scared of a war? We were the strongest kingdom in the world, noone will stop us.

"She's like Helen of Troy, she could bring Volterra to its destruction"Mother spoke and I looked at her unbelievably. Seriously noone on my side? Why would Katherine be another Helen of Troy for Volterra? Volterra has gone through too much to be destroyed and abandonned or even to become a ruin.

"No Mother and Father! She has strong powers, in time I could make her attacks our enemies...no...only if she wants to, I won't force into anything. She's under my responsibility, whether you like or not"I said sternly and Father came in front of me with a menacing furious look so I backed away a little but still stayed strong in my word.

"Powers? What powers?"Father asked me and I sighed relaxing that he wont blast me...now.

"About that ,Father, Im confused. She used different elements. Even fire"I said doubtfully and now he was as confused and blank as me, so was Mother.

"Water, Earth, Fire and Wind?"Mother asked me and I nodded. They both let out small gasp from their mouths looking at each other like they had something in mind. Lets invade their thoughts shall we?

Mother's mind: But it cant be! She wasnt The Mother Of All Vampires! Only she could use all elements, noone else and no yellow eyed master the fire element!

Mother Of All Vampires? Sounds familiar but I was 100% sure my Katherine wasnt The Mother Of All Vampires, I have never seen that Queen but I knew she was of great beauty. Like Katherine but the Mother Queen Of All Vampires had no heir. She couldnt! Katherine couldnt be her daughter, plus Katherine was from Imperia. The Mother Queen was if I was not wrong the Queen of The White City, the once called the Twin City of Volterra: Vampiria. Yeah before the reign of Father, those two kingdoms had the best bond. Now they were our worst enemies. Dont ask why, I never knew, I just grew up hating them.

Father's mind: If she was as strong as Harry said, she could be a great for us, she could kill the whole eyes by using her powers. I will make her side with us

Father! Good thinking but if she disagreed, I will not let you or anyone force her.

"Harry! You were right to bring her here! Let her rest tonight, tomorrow I want you to train her, I want her to master even more the fire element. This war will be our victory, I'm more confident now"Father said in a nicer tone and I nodded because he finally accepted Katherine to be here with us . To me that was what mattered. She wont leave anywhere without me. I couldnt let her go.

"She really means so much to you doesnt she?"Mother asked me softly after Father left the room. Mother was easier to reason and about love, she would not go against me, she understood it was my choice not hers ir Fathers or anyones. So could I tell her? Yeah I will right now. Here it goes. No more denying.

"I love her Mother! I don't care about who she is. She's the one for me, I know it. I will tell her soon, till then..."I started to say but Mother cut me off as if she understood what I meant.

"I understand, make sure your Father doesn't suspect anything"Mother said and I hugged her affectionately. At least she supported my choice for love right?

Wait wait! Did I just confess my love for Katherine? Did I love her?
