25: I'm Coming For You

Zayn's Pov

Katherine! My dear Katherine ! Where did you run off? Why would you run off? Why won't you give us a chance to be together? You and me against the world, we could bring peace to the world by destroying the reckless red eyed vampires once and for all. Your Father the Father Of All Vampires will be finally avenged. Don't you want that?

I wish she knew how much I loved this girl, even if as cliche as it sounded, I fell in love the moment my eyes laid on her perfect porcelain face, her golden eyes were shining like noone else's like a rarest and purest gold. I had to find her and when I do, she will be mine, My Queen! She will understand that I was the one for her.

I rode my horse to gallop faster away from the plain fields into a darker, less nice scenery as greenery was disappearing, turning into a wasteland, the further I went, everything was turning black and could smell the sulphur eggy smell and something made me choke as I coughed heavily. Like Nora said, the air would kill yellow eyed on the spot but my heart somehow told me that Katherine has passed these foul lands. How could she survive? Whatever way, I strongly hope she didn't try human blood, that was not our principles at all, our most absolute law.

At some point, even my horse couldnt stand the poisoned air and it just fell on the ground with me on top but I was somehow alright, choking but survived I guessed. I wasn't gonna give up on my future bride, my love. I had no choice to leave my dead horse here and walk my way myself with just my sword around my belt.

"Woah woah you again! I thought you had no business with red eyes! This is our territory!"The same red eyed vampire that I met before with Niall appeared in front of me, he got down his horse and walked towards me. If I remember well, his name was Sir Louis of Volterra. Volterra? I was on their territory? Did it mean Katherine was there? Oh no this was really really bad! Worst, Katherine so innocent didn't even know they were our worst enemies!

"I mean no harm! I...just...searching...for...my...princess"I managed to say as I was struggling to speak and breathe. The red eyed looked at me with confusion.

"Your Princess? What's her name King Zayn?"Sir Louis asked me and I was debating whether or not to tell him or not, remember we had to keep her identity safe and unknown to outsiders of Vampiria and Moonland.

"Nora"Was the next name that came to mind after Katherine, what? She was also beautiful, very very beautiful but she wasn't a princess. She wasn't Katherine!

Since do you care about a girl status Zayn? It was never an issue to you so Nora might be possible if you dont get Katherine.

No no no no I will get Katherine. Katherine was mine and only mine. Noone else

"Nora? Wasnt expecting that name"Louis mumbled softly but I heard him. What was that supposed to mean?

"There is a Princess in your kingdom isnt it?"I asked him guessing and he gave me dead glare. Damn his nerves.

"Why do I feel like you know her? Why do I feel like the girl you love is not named Nora?"Louis growled like he read my mind. Oh great! I was screwed that was it. I remained silent, his next words stunned me but gave me a small hope that nothing was lost yet. I guess.

"Its Katherine right? Princess Katherine of Imperia?"Sir Louis asked me and I froze, my eyes wide opened not blinking. What the hell? They had Katherine? Did he say Princess Katherine of Imperia? Aww clever Katherine hid her true identity, loving her even more now. Really.

"I...I...don't know what you talking about...I...don't know any Katherine"I lied and he looked at me closely trying to figure me out.

"Let's see about that. Guards take him"Sir Louis said and two guards came to handcuff me , pushed me forward to follow them, Sir Louis climbed back on his horse, shortly after I was tied upside down on a branch that two vampires held while walking.

Well at least I was gonna enter the Black City. Where Katherine was, one step closer to find her and save her from the red eyes.
