Timothy's POV
I can't believe I just invited Harmony out with whoever she brought. I hope she brought Ryan I have some choice words for him. I'm not gonna hurt him, I would never! but just maybe a little bit just a tiny bit smother him with a nap--
"Hey Tim!" Gerald said coming up to me, snapping me back into reality. He walking to me with Harmony and two kids following her.
"Hey guys!" I got up to greet Gerald and Harmony, giving her an awkward hug.
"Hey Tim." She hugged me back and I smiled when she did.
Harmony was wearing a simple shirt and pants with heeled boots on and I could have stood there and looked at her but she looked at me with the most confused face in the world. "So Harm" I started clearing my throat. "Who are there lovely people behind you?" I looked at the children.
"Oh!" She turned around. And pointed to the tallest one. "This is Ian Christopher Tenner, my son."
"Oh wow I hope you take good care of your mom here." I held out my hand. He's wearing a blue button up, blue jeans, and converse.
He smiled and took my hand. "Yes sir I do."
She smiled, god I love her smile it's so beau-- Timothy stop! She's married. "And this is Samantha Mandy Tenner."
I kneeled down and looked at her. She's wearing a pink shirt with a tutu at the end some shorts and boots to match her mom. "Well Ms. Samantha you are absolutely beautiful!" I poked her nose and she giggled.
"Thank you sir." I got up and looked at her as I knew she was gonna continue using her angelic voice.
"And kids this is my old best guy friend, Timothy Clarence McKay."
"Can we call you uncle too?" Sam asked looking up at me.
"Well if your mom says it's okay I wouldn't mind a bit."
"Mommy please!!" She turned to look at her mom and her face instantly softened at her.
"Yes, you may."
"Let's sit." I opened a chair for Harmony then Sam and Ian sat himself across from me at the round table then Gerald sat himself next to me.
___________
"Wow I'm full mommy." Sam said leaning back in her chair and rubbing her belly.
I chuckled at the that and I looked over to Harmony and her realizing that they don't look that much alike. But the real thing that bothered me was the fact that she is married.
Flashback
"Har just listen to me!" 16 year old Tim said following her through her house and up to her tree house.
"No Tim. It's not that simple!"
"It's not simple? You're just shutting your mouth and accepting my opinion."
"I mean the topic of conversation Jackass!!" She said as she sat on the old couch in there.
"Come on honey." I sat next to her keeping my space know that any second now she'll blow up and pace and possibly hit me for not listening.
"Ugh!! Tim you can't just do that to me!!" She got up and paced the room. (Told you.)
"I just said marriage and kids."
"What if I don't want those things?"
"Why wouldn't you want them?"
"Because Tim, the fact of marriage means a wedding which means that my mom is gonna want this huge wedding that will cost tens of thousands of dollars! I mean that's a lot of money we can buy a car or a house with that money."
"If you don't want a huge wedding we don't have to have one. We can have a small one."
"I don't want to be bound to one person for the rest of my life Tim!! There I said it. I fucking said it." She stopped pacing and slid down the wall frustrated tears painting her face.
I slowly moved to her. "We don't have to get married if you don't want to."
"Really?"
"Yeah if you really don't want to we don't have to."
"Thank you." She smiled at me and I smiled back wiping the frustrated tears away. We both sat down on the couch and she laid her head on my lap while I played with her hair, we sat in silence until she broke it.
"Hey Tim?"
"Yes Harmony?"
"I love you."
"Awe, I love you too baby girl." I kissed her cheek. "Go to sleep." I said and I felt her head nod and her breathing ease down to a constant pace.
End of Flashback
"Tim are you okay?" I heard Harmony say.
I shook my head back into reality "Yeah I'm fine."
She slowly nodding not believing me. "Yeah okay. Well the kids and I have to go soon."
"Okay well before you go let me tell them about you when you were Sam's age." And both of the kids nodded as she look at me like I just betrayed her.
"How was mom around age 5?" Ian asked.
"Well I'll tell you." I smiled up at Harmony as she dipped her strawberry into the pot of chocolate. "You're mom had quite the spirit at your age Sam. She always found the good in everything. When it was pouring rain outside she'd drag me out there and we would dance in the rain until Mrs. Prescott told us to come inside. Then once inside she'd built the most fantastic fort of all time and we would pretend to be fighting a battle between humans and giants. She was and still is the most beautiful and optimistic person I've met." I finished and looked down and at my plate that was full of chocolate dipped marshmallows and half eaten strawberries.
Ian cleared his throat directing the attention to him. "So did you and my mom ever date?"
"Once upon a time, yes." She answered. "But it's nothing but in the past."
I smiled and nodded at her making her see that I'm agreeing with her. But for me it was a lie. She was always and will always be my true love. I mean I changed my habit for her and got back into it because of her. This entire empire I built is because if her, I love her.
I mean I know I can't say that and get away with it but it's Fire or Ice with her and right now she's giving me hella amount of ice, so much Santa can stop by and think it was home. But when she gave me fire, boy I'd tell ya, she was full of energy and I loved it.
