Chapter 3

Harmony's POV

I walked into mine and Ryans room to start packing and I couldn't find my suitcase. "Ryan, honey??"

"Yes dear?" He said behind me causing me to jump.

"I didn't know you were so close. I'm sorry. Anyways....do you know where my suitcase is?"

"Yeah it's in Samantha's room."

"Why is it in there?"

"Because she's packing to go with you."

"I told you already she doesn't need to come with me."

"Well I can't go with you and you already told Ian he can't go so the only person left is Sammy."

"Sammy needs to attend school so she can grow up and be smart. I'm gonna be gone for a week, why can't I do that?"

"Because you might see him!"

"Ryan even if I do see him doesn't mean I'm gonna jump in bed with him. He's just an ex, no one special honestly you have never met him so you can't be all jealous."

"I don't need to meet him to be jealous, which I am not in fact Harmony jealous of him."

"Oh your not? Then why did you do a background check on him and try to convince me to take my 5 year old daughter to my class reunion?"

"Because I don't want him taking you!!"

"I'm not going anywhere!! Why can't you see that?!?"

"Samantha is going with you or you're not going period."

"You cannot tell me what to do. I'm not your kid. I'm your wife."

"And my wife is going to listen to me. You take one of the kids and then you are free to go."

"Then I guess Ian will be attending with me because he can be left alone. Which means you have to be here when Sam get home and make sure she goes to bed on time."

"Fine. Harmony?"

He called out to me as I started walking to Sam's room, I turned to face him. "Yes Ryan?"

"Shouldn't the reunion be more in the future?"

"Yes it should but our class leader, Karen Jane, had ask all of us to come next Saturday."

"Then why are you leaving on a Monday only to come back on Sunday?"

"Because I'm going to my hometown and if I have to take the kids I want to show them around."

"Alright."

I continued to walk to Sam's door once I got there, I knocked on her door. "Sammy?"

"Yes mommy?"

I walked in and saw my suitcase has been dumped out and Sam had a red mark on her arm. "Sammy what happened?"

"I ran into a door."

"Why?"

"Because....um.....because I that it would be fun."

I didn't believe her for a second. "Okay well you have to stay here with Daddy okay?"

"No mommy!!! Take me with you!!! Please!!!!"

"Honey you have to go to school"

"I can go when I come back. I want to go with you." She ran up to me and held my legs together for dear life until I gave in.

"Then I guess I'll be taking you and Ian. If that's okay with you."

"Yay!!! Can I go tell Ian???"

"Yes honey go ahead." I picked her up and she gave me a hug and a kiss until I let her down.

"Ryan!!!" I screamed for him.

"Yes dear?" I walked in on him reading on our bed like nothing was wrong.

I closed the door behind me not wanting anyone to hear my conversation I'm about to have with him. "Did you hurt Sam?"

"What?"

I took a deep breath. "Did. You. Hurt. Samantha?" I repeated slower.

"No why would you think that?"

"Because she has a red mark on her arm and she says she ran into a wall but the mark had slight finger marks and Ian knows not to hit women. So the only person left is you."

He got up from the bed. "What about you?"

"Me?" He nodded. "I would never ever touch my daughter. She is my life, why would I hurt her?"

"Why would I?"

"Because you hurt me! You hurt me when I don't abide by you or when I don't do what you want!" I took my pants off to reveal pinch marks all over them. "This is you."

"I didn't touch her Harmony!"

"I'm taking both of them with me to Cali and if I find someone else in here when I come back or if you hurt me or any of my kids your ass is mine!" I walked out of the room and told Ian and Sam they are both coming with me.
