03: "Thank you, Mom."

Emma's POV

Jennifer gives me a sympathetic look and rubs my back gently, "It's okay, Miss Emma. Parents will be back before you know it! Now, let's go check out your room." I nodded and followed Jennifer inside the house.

Woah, this house is stunning. "Miss Emma, I am going to place my belongings in your room. Can you find your room on your own?" I smiled, "Of course, Jennifer. Go ahead!" She kissed my forehead before heading up the stairs.

Here, we go. I followed behind Jennifer and opened the first door on my left. My eyes widened as I was looking at the back of Jax Novoa. Oh my god! His back muscles are so .. big. 

Jax is known around Iridium High for several things: awesome pranks, overall bad boy, and most importantly breaking girls hearts. I confuses me how girls will kill to be his "girlfriend" to only find out they were being played all along.

I didn't even know that I had been staring before Jax snapped his fingers in my face, "Like what you see, Princess?" I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. "I was looking for my bedroom. Anyways, I'm Emma." Jax raised an eyebrow, "You're going to be living with me? You're saying, I'm going to see you everyday?" I sighed and nodded.

I swear, I heard him mumble, "Thank you, Mom."

"You may already know, but I'm Jax. Well, let me show you to your room, myself."

Author's Note: I'm super excited! I, along with other 8th graders, have been selected to go to College Day at different colleges. Basically, I travel to different colleges, view classes, etc! I also get in free to the specific college football game also! So, I'll be posting on my Snapchat!
